A message

Jason wasn't angered by Jenny this time, but by the teacher himself. He had remained silent when Jenny refused to sit next to him. He had expected as much by now, but now this foolish teacher was going to place her next to some other guy. How dare he. Was he turning senile. The teacher's face showed the fear he was feeling, but because Mr. Westwood would not speak he did not know what he was supposed to do. With a shaky voice he changed his original arrangement and said "Uh..n-n-no that seat isn't right. Instead how about the seat in the back next to Sarah?" As he was saying those words he slowly turned to see if Mr. Westwood approved. The glare was still there, but was less harsh. This showed him that he was going in the right direction. Jenny did not dare to look to the side to give Jason a glare in return and make him stop his crazy behavior, because that would only add to the thoughts that everyone were already having. Those being that Jenny and Jason might be somehow connected to each other. So she let the teacher continue. "Ah better yet, how about if Jeffrey sit next to Sarah and Jennifer has a desk by herself. That way she won't have to sit next to people she isn't familiar with on her first day." Finally Jason had turned back towards the window and the glare had been let up.

Though Jenny thought she had fixed the problem caused by Jason's seating arrangements by rejecting them and not responding to Jason's behavior, this behavior in itself from him was suspicious enough. They were already quite curious because she was able to start school at Mountforth high in the middle of a term, something which was unheard of, but now she was even receiving concern from Mr. Westwood. For now they could only accept the situation, because if they made a fuss now while Mr. Westwood was in a bad mood they would get in trouble. They would have to feel out her intentions towards their devilish prince during the break. Jenny quickly sat down and placed what she needed on her desk so class could finally start. Jason was still staring out of the window and would not spare Jenny a single glance. Jenny frowned at this behavior. While she was feeling bad about what she had said before, but this was no excuse for what Jason had done just now. She was angered by Jason's actions. Why was he being so petty. Because of his interference she was now sitting all by herself. She could understand him not wanting her to sit next to that Jeffrey boy, but what was wrong with her sitting next to a girl. It would give her a chance to make a friend. Besides, what was the point of attending class if he was not going to pay attention and why isn't the teacher saying anything. Was everyone that afraid of him and why were they afraid of him to begin with. Everyone was somewhat tense, except for two boys who were seated behind Jason. They kept staring at her even during all that happened, but in a different way from the rest. In a more curious and less suspicious way. Other than them there was also a female student who seemed unfazed by Jason's behavior, but contrary to the two male students, her stare was filled with suspicion and even some animosity.

After she was no longer the center of attention Jenny grabbed her phone to send Jason a message.

- What was that all about? Are you happy now that I am sitting all by myself. You agreed to keeping everything a secret for now. What if they become suspicious of our relationship because of your reaction to the teachers seating arrangements. I know you are angry, but I really do think that for now pretending we have nothing to do with each other is for the best. -

Jason, whose mood hadn't really improved from the moment he had stepped out of the car, felt a buzzing come from his phone. There were only a few people who had his number, so he was curious to see who had sent him a message during this time. As he unlocked his phone he saw the message was from Jenny. What did she want to tell him? Was she going to apologize or ask him for lunch? As he started reading the message she had sent, his eyes started growing wider and he felt himself growing angrier and angrier until he could take it no more. He abruptly stood up from his chair, scaring everyone, including the teacher. "Mr. Westwood, is something wrong? If there is something in my lesson you do not like let me know, I will change...." But before the teacher could finish his words, Jason had already left the classroom. Slamming the door without bothering to close it.

The two men that were sitting behind him, exchanged some glances and got up from their seats as well. They followed after Jason in a calm and collected manner. No one said anything or dared to stop them. After they had left and closed the door behind them, class continued as if nothing had happened. Jenny let out a small sigh after seeing Jason's response to her text. She started second guessing her message and thought whether it might have been better if she hadn't sent anything. She was typing out of anger and she added fuel to the angry fire that was already brewing inside him. Maybe she should have waited till she was able to speak to him in person. Now she can't even follow him, because then all of this would have been for nothing. Those boys who followed him seem to be close to him, so I am sure they will comfort him. Class will only last for another 15 minutes. During the break I will go find him and fix this mess. But before she could do that a commotion could be heard in the hallway.
