A love filled meal

After her classes had finished Jenny went home to prepare a love filled meal and made her way over to Jason's office. When she walked in and saw the women at the front desk, they immediately lowered their eyes out of fear. They have only known Jenny as the obnoxious woman who had almost got them to lose their jobs. When Jenny saw their response to her presence, she made a little detour and stopped at the front desk before heading into the elevator to Jason's office. When Jenny addressed the two young women, they were a bit anxious. Wondering what their boss's wife wanted from them, thinking what they could have done wrong, when Jenny apologized to them and told them the truth. "I am sorry for behaving that way. I had to keep my real personality hidden to protect myself and to help Jason with his plan. This is the real me." She said as she spun around slowly to show how she regularly dressed. "If I am not mistaken, Jason has updated my file with a normal picture of me."

The women had a hard time believing Jenny but at the same time they wanted it to be the truth. When they met Jenny for the first time, when she was still in her role, they were quite disappointed with Jason. They couldn't believe their supervisor, someone that was the son of their impressive CEO and would probably be their future CEO, would have a wife like that. Someone who was clearly only in it for the money and had a horrible personality like that. After Jenny's explanation they checked the system and saw that her former picture had indeed been replaced with one that matched her current image. "You are right miss. The picture has indeed been replaced. I am glad to know that you are not the person we thought you were. We didn't think a person like the one you pretended to be matched with Mr. Westwood's image but he seemed to be going along with your claims and behaviour. So, as low ranking employees we had no other choice than to assume that it was the truth." Jenny chuckled and said, "Don't worry about it. People much higher and on paper much closer believed my act. So, no one will blame you for believing it as well. I'll take it as a compliment and consider acting as a second career option." She ended her words with a wink causing the perplexed employees to start laughing as well as Jenny made her way to the elevator.

When she arrived at the top floor, Jenny saw a lot of different faces. Some were new and some she had seen at the family meeting. She greeted everyone politely as she walked to Jason's office. After hearing his "Come in", she opened the door carrying the Tupperware with his dinner. "Still hard at work I see. Mind if I disturb you for bit?" Jason's stern face immediately changed into a bright smile when he saw that his unplanned guest was Jenny. "I could never consider you a disturbance. Come in, come in. I was looking at a late night anyways. A little later won't hurt me. I deserve a break and having you here will give me new energy to get through the remaining workhours." "Either that or food poisoning" Jenny said with a chuckle Jenny as she sat down across from him and started opening the Tupperware boxes to reveal what she had brought him.

"That looks great Jenny but don't you think you are sitting too far away. Since you have gone through the effort to make and bring me food. You should finish the job and feed it to me." Jason responded playfully. Though they had done much more intimate things as a couple since getting married and even before, these things still managed to get the bashful Jenny out. The only difference with before is that she now faced her embarrassment and was a bit more honest with herself when she actually did want something or didn't really mind doing what Jason was requesting. Especially considering that they were alone in Jason's office. So, with flushed cheeks Jenny walked over and sat on Jason's lap. Jason didn't think she would actually do it but was pleased with the result nonetheless. With his arms tightly wrapped around her, he waited for the food with the excitement that could only be described as that of a puppy. After the first highly anticipated bite, they took turns to feed each other Jenny's cooking. While they ate Jenny's level of embarrassment lowered and she could ask him about the personnel changes.

"Jace, I saw some new faces on this floor. How have the changes at the office been working out?" "Yeah, some people we promoted you saw at the family meeting but there are a couple of new faces for you. One of them is the adopted son of my aunt. He was sixteen when he had himself emancipated through court after he saw what kind of people they were. He was caving under the pressure that they had put on his shoulders and the constant threats of kicking him out of the family that at a certain point he decided that it wasn't worth it anymore. Especially not for people that didn't care about him at all. So, before they had a chance to have him removed from the family registry, he had himself removed. His actions had always stuck with me. I was very impressed by him for walking away from all the fortune. My admiration grew when I found out that he was quite talented as well and actually had a real shot at obtaining it all. A person who can do that, is a person who doesn't care about money enough to be blinded by it and therefore a person I can trust.
