A game

Jason returned her curtesy, with a bow of his own before they started their walk. They chatted away and had fun with putting on strong British accents while getting closer. They enjoyed a light lunch and had great fun while preparing dinner. They had decided to make a fresh pizza and Jenny could not resist playing with the flour. Both exciting the kitchen with a head of white hair and clothes covered in flour. Jason chasing her and picking her up to spin her around in a playful manner. Both laughing at the other's appearance. The day was spent wonderfully in leisure and as they went into the third day, any hint of awkwardness had gone away. Last night's movie ended quite late so both of them woke up late today. Therefore breakfast had turned into brunch. For the third day they had planned a game Jason found online. It was a game where you had to look the other person in the eye and without breaking eye contact you had to answer intimate questions about yourself. It was meant for speeding up the getting to know each other on a deeper level. With only four days to go, this was perfect for them.

They got comfortable on the couch in the living room. Jenny snuggled up in the corner, holding a pillow. Jason sitting slant ways, with one leg on the floor, while sitting on the other, and his arm on the backrest of the couch. They used a timer from the kitchen to guard the time and used a phone to provide the questions. It was set on airplane mode as to not provide any distractions. And off they went. The first question was about what they found most important in a relationship and why. Jason had to start answering the question first. "There are a lot of important things that has to be present in a healthy relationship. Love, understanding, commitment, open communication, but the most important? For me the answer has to be trust. If you can't trust the other person, then your love will suffer. So will your understanding of the other person. You won't be willing to commit or communicate and even if you do, will you believe the words of the other person? That is the reason I fell for you, you gave me the feeling I could trust you. It had been a long time since I felt that way about a person, much less a girl I could see myself with. It started with that solid slap you gave me." Jason laughed as he thought back to their first meeting. "It woke me right up and let me know that there still were people with pure motives." He smiled at Jenny, showing he was completely at ease around her.

Jenny was a bit surprised at his answer, because she didn't expect it, but she couldn't agree more. She felt her heart thumping a bit faster in her chest, but didn't think much of it as she went on to answer the question herself. "I must say, I didn't expect you to say trust, but thinking back on what you have told me over these weeks of getting to know each other, I guess the answer suits you. I have to agree. I too think that trust is the most important thing. No relationship can function without trust, so how can it be absent in a romantic one. I would like to think that trust is what connects all the things you summed up in the beginning of your answer. If I am together with someone, I trust that he will love me. I trust that he will try to understand me and talk to me if he doesn't. I trust that he will not betray me and stay faithful to me. The presence of those things are what the trust is built on and as time passes I hope that trust will grow stronger and stronger." The perfect answer, from a perfect girl. Jason felt himself growing closer to Jenny and more and more he could feel himself believing he was meant to meet this girl. That that was why the women before had no affect on him, it was because he was waiting for Jenny. The girl that could be trusted.
