A deathly glare

Jason was waiting anxiously before the arrivals gate where Jenny was supposed to exit. Again all eyes were drawn to him, but with his current expression all they dared to do was steal glances when they thought he wasn't looking. No on actually dared to approach him and it almost seemed like he had a barrier around him with a two meter radius. That was the minimal distance people were keeping from him. Everyone was awed when they saw the change he underwent as soon as he saw Jenny coming from around the corner. His serious and cold expression broke into a smile, which softened his entire face. He walked up to her and his pace fastened as he was nearing her. In his line of vision all other people had disappeared and only she could be seen. No matter how large the number of people surrounding her, no matter how big the crowd, in his eyes there was only her. Soon Jenny spotted him in the crowd as well, if only for the fact that all the other people seemed to be a few meters behind making Jason the "front runner", and she too quickened her pace. Before she knew it, she found herself in a spinning embrace, laughing at Jason's behavior and feeling loved by him all at the same time. They looked each other in the eyes and exchanged all the words that were needed, without actually speaking them out loud. The silence was broke by Jason who said "Shall we head home?". Home. Yes, Westwood mansion would be her home. She had finally moved and the first day of her life here was going to begin. So Jenny nodded and held the hand Jason had held out.

With Jenny's bag in one hand and her hand in the other, Jason led the way to the car parked in frond of the airport. Jenny's belongings would be sent over through the postal office. It should arrive in a day or two. As soon as they passed through the gates of Westwood mansion Jenny felt a sense of familiarity. The beautiful flowers, the majestic fountain in the center and the pond where this all started. It looked straight out of a fairy tale, especially with all the lights that had been used to decorate the gardens for at night. Even the fountain had been lit up, making it seem like the water coming out of the fountain itself was filled with little balls of light. Jenny's face couldn't help breaking into a smile. Seeing these things made her certain that she would feel at home here in no time. This feeling was enforced by the warm welcome she received when the door to the mansion was opened. Standing in the opening were all the servants that she had come to know during the time she had spent here, the friendly Garry and her soon to be parents in law, Susan and Stephen. Everyone had been waiting for her arrival and they were overjoyed that Jenny had decided to join their family.

Everyone was happy, but Jason. He hadn't seen Jenny for so long, he wasn't ready to share her attention yet. Who told these pesky people to interfere in their alone time from the moment she entered the house. He gave all of them deathly glares and the servants and Garry excused themselves once they felt the icy stare. Jason's parents were determined to give their daughter-in-law a warm welcome and would not be scared away so easily. They ushered her into the living room and asked her about her flight and the move. All under the hateful glare of Jason, who had admitted defeat after being on the receiving end of a deathly glare from Jenny when he tried to break them up. She wanted to leave a good impression on her in-laws despite knowing they adored her just as much as their son did. They offered her some refreshments and informed her of the arrangements that had been made for her here. Before they knew it over an hour had passed and they could see that Jenny was a bit tired. So they told Jason to show her to her room and they decided to stay behind for a bit to allow their son his long awaited time alone with his bride. They had bullied him for long enough, if they pushed it, they didn't know what he would do. Jenny bid them both a good night and excused herself along with Jason. "Well then please excuse me as I will go to bed before you. Good night for now and we shall see each other tomorrow morning." Susan and Stephen laughed at her overly polite behavior and nodded in approval and wished her a good night as well. Jason did not hesitate to take this chance and he took Jenny by the hand to the second floor. He was excited to finally show Jenny the room he had prepared for her. Would she like what he had prepared or would all his hard work go to waste?

The plane has landed! All are happy to see Jenny, but Jason is clearly not one to share XD. Enjoy and today there will be a small up spree as I am inspired. I want to ride this wave while I still can.
