Before Ray could understand what Mao was trying to say, the serpent came rushing to them. Using her tail, she flung them away sending them flying to a far tree.

*BANG*

Ray slammed his back to the tree causing it to shake from the sudden impact.

"Damn it!" he groaned as he stood up, his back ached but that wasn't his problem as he could see the serpent making her way towards them. "Mao, get into your contracted space. I will deal with this disgusting animal! she dared to play pranks on me? hmph!"

Mao stared at Ray who was fuming with anger for some time before she sighed and finally went into her contracted space, after she was gone, Ray stood up properly and walked to the centre of the place and stood waiting for the serpent to come.
