1 Battle Against The Draconic Mother Serpent

Ray and Mao kept running in circles while the large serpent was relentlessly going after them. It was so enraged after seeing all her children dead, divided into twos, threes and even fours.

She was guided by a maternal instinct and she was ready to kill the tiny daring human who did it, they had been running at a fast pace for thirty minutes without any thought of slowing down...a step down will determine their life.

Luckily other beasts around were intelligent enough to not attack Ray after seeing the enormous and deadly creature they feared the most.

"Mao, did we lose her? Check." Ray said as he kept running, his legs were already getting weak. The serpent didn't give him a single chance to cast a spell as she continued sending streams of dark-coloured poison to him.

"I don't see her, maybe you should take a rest behind that big tree," Mao suggested. She felt bad for him but at the same didn't want to help him out.
