Weak! Weak!! Weak!!!

Just a single punch sent Alex into the wall like a ball, this was a clear indication of how strong Damon was. Even given the time skip, it was enough to make him stronger than before.

"Bastard, we won't let you hurt him!" Klein yelled as he summoned his sword. He and Raphael rushed to attack him but he clicked his fingers and they abruptly stopped on their track.

"I would have killed you two but it won't be fun," he said to them with a smug on his face. "I have no business with you so better stay off or get ready to die!" He added and began to head in the direction Alex was.

On getting there, he saw Alex already on his feet and wiping the blood on the corner of his lips.

"Oops, it was not my intention to make you bleed but since you are already on it, there should be no need for unnecessary worry. Let's just have fun for a while," he said to Alex and moved at unseeable speed. He raised his hand to punch him but Alex dodged and went behind him rapidly.

He tried to attack Damon from behind but the young man chuckled and disappeared from there causing Alex to lose balance and stagger.

"Show yourself! Stop hiding, you bastard!" Alex grunted in anger.

"I'm right here, nephew," Damon replied behind Alex and when the latter turned to attack, he chuckled and landed him a kick at his left thigh.

Alex fell on one knee but Damon didn't stop there, he landed him a punch on the chest causing him to fall flat on the ground.

"Get up and fight!" Damon yelled at him. "Don't you want to avenge your parents? Fucking get up and fight! A weakling like you can not achieve anything, so get up and fight you lazy ass!" He continued to yell.

Alex was angry because Damon kept calling him weak and that was what Damon wanted. He wanted something that would ignite the flames in his heart, something that would make him stand on his feet and fight with everything he had.

"I am not weak," Alex mumbled as he got up. "Don't ever call me weak!" He cried out and his eyes began to change until they were dark red. "You killed my parents, I haven't forgotten about it," he said and moved rapidly towards Damon who thought he could read his movement.

He thought Alex was going to attack him from behind so he got ready to counter his attack but the moment he turned around, Alex moved rapidly again and threw him a punch at the back of his head. The force he used made Damon stagger forward but it was not enough to injure him.

"That's a nice trick but it's useless against me," Damon taunted him with a laugh. "I want more from you!" He said to him.

' Mere strength won't do anything against him, I'll use my demon abilities. It was useful against those monsters, I hope it works this time ' He thought and moved again.

Damon had no intention of running away, so he stood and I waited to see what Alex was capable of. Even when Alex got to him and placed his palm on him, he still didn't move.

"Decay!" Alex muttered and the place he was holding turned black.

Seeing this, Damon's eyes widened a bit, and soon, his brows knitted. He abruptly moved back and gazed at that spot, it was still black. "What the hell is this?" He asked.

"This is one of my abilities called decay. The ability activates once I come in contact with anyone," Alex explained and as Damon gazed at his wrist, he noticed that it was already spreading to his arm as well.

'I feel a burning sensation as it spreads to my arm' He thought with a frown on his face. But suddenly, he smiled and glanced at Alex. "You know this isn't enough to put me down because I am not like the others who might have died from it. Still, you are weak!" He said and the moment he completed his sentence, he moved towards Alex in a flash and when he got to him, he landed multiple punches in his belle.

Alex could not count how many times he was being punched but each punch reminded him of how weak he still was, how unable he was to defeat Damon, and how disappointed his parents would be if they were watching him. A tear soon dropped from his eyes and seeing it, Damon stooped.

"Grow up, idiot!" He said with a scoff. He turned to leave but before he left he said something to Alex that made the boy widen his eyes in shock. Alex tried to say something but before he could even gather the words, Damon was long gone.

As soon as he left, Raphael and Klein rushed to Alex's side and helped him up. "Are you alright? Who was that man?" Klein asked him.

Alex slowly stood up as he was in pain but the pain didn't matter to him — What Really mattered to him was what Damon said before leaving.

"Hey, are you fine?" Raphael asked him but he didn't still say a word to them. Rather, he pushed them away from him and made to walk but his first step was bad as he almost fell to the ground if not for Klein who caught him immediately.

But instead of allowing them to help him, he roughly pushed Klein out of his way and staggered away.

"Should we follow him?" Klein asked Raphael.

"No, I think we should let him be for now," Raphael replied, he had a worried look on his face as he watched his friend leave.

Alex returned to his dorm and when he got in, he began to scatter everything in his room. His eyes turned red as he destroyed the things in his room. The pieces of the broken glasses pierced him on his feet and hands but he didn't care and continued destroying more things. When he got tired, he sat down on the floor and began to cry.

"Dad, mom, what should I do? I can't even make a clear decision on my own," he mumbled while shedding tears. "Is what he said the truth? Tell me, please!" He yelled and slammed his fist on the floor. "I am weak, so weak! After everything, I thought I had become strong but I was only deceiving myself..." He said and paused as more tears dropped. Soon, he began to feel pain at the back of his head and his eyes began to close. Some seconds later, he slumped to the floor.
