Part Two

Hiyori's POV:

Akira and I both entered UA, with me going in first. Just as I was about to turn to ask Akira something, I felt myself dash against something. Or rather someone.

I turn back straight to apologize to the person. He was a boy about our age, overall cute up till his hair and face. Half his hair was white and the other half red, wonder if it was real.. but his face had a rather big burn scar, I got to admit it looked cool.

"I'm sorry," I smile sheepishly and say.

He had a frown plastered on his face while he clicked his tongue, and made his way towards the main building. Who didn't give him breakfast?

"What's his deal?" I ask Akira who's now beside me.

"No idea, he seems to be in a bad mood, Let's leave it," she shrugs.

Just as we were going to continue to walk, a boy our age tripped and almost fell face-first. Akira caught him by his back collar and I saw him stiffen up and apologize rather awkwardly. His hair was a shade resembling dark forest green. He had brown freckles, giving a unique look. Unlike the encounter we just had, he was smiling slightly.

"I-I'm sorry!" the boy said nervously.

"Not a problem," I say with a grin, while Akira nodded.

"I'm Izuku Midoriya," he says seeming a bit relieved as he introduced himself.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Hiyori Ki and she's Akira Ki," I say introducing both of us as well as we now start making our way to the main building.

"Oh, so you guys are sisters?" He says adjusting his backpack.

"Nope, we are from the same cl-" I almost slip out, just in time to see Akira glaring at me.

"Yes, you could say we're sisters. Cousins actually," Akira covers up for me.

That was close as we can't reveal ourselves. It would raise a lot of doubts and questions we wouldn't want to answer. At least not yet, as we need to maintain a low profile.

We separate from Midoriya and head to meet principal Nezu, before heading to the Auditorium. Today was the entrances exam, I have no doubt about passing it, but we need to be careful about how much power we can use, limiting our quirk usage. We don't want unwanted attention, but we attract drama wherever we go, nevertheless.

Nezu knew our grandma. He used to visit our cafe for our famous sandwiches and our grandma's coffee, that is where we get our addiction from. He wanted us to skip the exam and join the class in disguise of school-recommended students as he knew a little of our past. He was always very supportive and kind towards us. We enter his office to see the cute witty principal as he greeted us with a gentle smile.

"It's been a while hasn't it," he spoke sipping his tea.

He was seated on a comfortable-looking velvet-covered chair- many sizes bigger than him. He was dressed formally as always, like the times he used to drop by. He smiled looking at us as we walked in.

"Indeed," both I and Akira replied in union, as we took a seat facing him.

He seemed shorter than before if that makes sense. He was naturally short and unique, but I got this feeling every time we met.

"I want you both to give this school your plus ultra. Just make sure not to go over the top, or things might tend to get messy," he said with an awkward yet serious smile.

"Yes, of course, we won't make you worry oji-chan," Akira replied with a sweet look that was so noticeably fake to which I could only hold back a giggle seeing Nezu's face.

"We have decided to reveal enough to pass with a good score. Don't worry, we plan to save the best for last and it won't be over the top," I say with my lips curling up in a smirk

Nezu shrugs in defeat knowing he can't do much about the matter but give us a warning which we took. We decided to leave after a while as it was about time for Present mic's orientation in which he would give us an explanation about the exam conducted and grounds to be assigned. We got some background from our grandma previously, as we were homeschooled and didn't get the information forms like most of the students did.

We enter the auditorium taking the only empty seats as our number card suggested besides a blonde aggressive-looking boy who sat folding his arms across his chest giving us and everyone around him a cold glare. Again, why do people come without breakfast?

I could see Midoriya Kun chant something eerie, mumbling softly yet audibly. I tried figuring what he was saying but I was not really able to decipher his words, then Akira nudges me to pay attention.

I look forward now, paying attention. We had 30 minutes and a ground assigned to us where we had to defeat robots which were given points depending on their difficulty level. Ironically, the toughest and biggest bot was useless.

That's pretty much all I could catch. "Mission destroying bot's"

We were assigned to battleground E. I and Akira head to the changing room to get in our P.E. uniforms. Then we start making our way outstanding in front of huge gates of the ground E.

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" I asked glancing towards Akira already knowing her answer. We'll give it our best, controlling most of our powers.

"Hmm," she says with confidence, chuckling under her breath.

I crack my knuckles as Akira rotates her neck. Every other student was tensed and covered with sweat from the humid atmosphere as we all hear Present Mic count down. 3...

*AIR GUNSHOT*

We start running as soon as we heard the air gun. Our grandma has been training us in combat skills and how to improve our overall senses from a young age. She used to teach martial arts to many heroes, but then left when she found out we were missing. She took us in and started a cafe but that didn't stop her from being a bossy yet kind teacher and moreover a parent to us.

We were in the lead pacing around the battleground taking down a few two and three pointer's that we could manage easily. We both have special quirks I use Qurik energy manipulation and Akira uses limitless.

It had been around 25 minutes so far and we had taken down quite a few robots.

"What's the score? " I ask Akira as we start jogging now. She slows down to my pace to answer.

"42 two-pointers and 32 three-pointers together" she replies nonchalantly, huffing slightly. That was a real workout, but I think we may have gone slightly overboard.

"That's 180," I say grimly, already imagining the look on the principal's face.

"Yep 90 each, " she says smiling slightly.

We decided to stop and sit on a nearby bench cause this felt like a perfect score. I found some banana milk near the counter, unopened. So Akira and I shared it, resting for a minute or so.

"2 minutes to go, " I shrugged as I checked my watch, alerting Akira of the time.

Then all of a sudden we feel the ground tremble as a huge zero pointer bot appears giving the student's a tough time trying to score.

I see Akira breathe out, as I already know what's coming. "Wanna play a bit more?" She asks me standing up.

I get a bit worried about what Nezu said, "Just make sure not to go over the top" I say shaking my head slightly and stand beside her now, but I don't think this is as over the top. It's a part of the exam after all.

"Why not," was the last thing I murmured, before sprinting with Akira.
