The thunder trio

"NARUTO WHAT THE HELL?! " Was the only thing came out of the pinkette's mouth upon arriving at the site.

The seventh hokage, Uzumaki Naruto, almost destroyed one half of the hospital in his Kurama mode.

Chakra flaring all over his body, a sight to behold like always.

For the people who are aware of the sudden entry that is.

"I'm sorr-" "Kyaaaa!! " The poor nurse screamed again. She was terrified.

And she fainted.

"Why didn't you used the freakin DOOR?! " Sakura was on her way transferring the fainted nurse onto the stretcher.

Tsunade stood silent and surprised beholding the whole scene unfold.

It all happened in a split second before Naruto grabbed both of then (with chakra hands) and flew away.

"What the-?!"

"I don't have time to explain, just come along." Naruto replied in a serious tone and hence, both the medics nodded in agreement.

//"This young lady here is,Lady Airi. And this is Saruto-sama" The head maid said, while showing a picture of two toddlers.

Both of them were certainly polars. One seemed to be mysterious and calm.

While the other seemed full of light smiling at the boy.

"From this point on, you are to serve them to your full potential." Mereda smiled holding the boy's arm ,bringing him closer.

Too tight. It hurts.

"Lord has high expectations from you." She gave a smile that resembled to that of a demon to him.

Was it just for millisecond but her eye changed?

What.. Was she?

"You would never disappoint him,right?"

I-

"If you do, I have to send you back to -. "

"No... No please.Let me stay." The boy breathed out, tears threatening to spill out.

The maid's smile grew wider ,and she dragged him even more closer, breathing into his ears.

"Then just do as I say.. Eren"//

"Oi Eren! Slow down! You are an easy target if you don't pay attention! " Kaili yelled from behind,before Eren realised he was indeed to open for an attack.

"Just stay focused will ya? " he added and the latter shrugged in annoyance.

The third member of the squad didn't seem to care either way so he just kept quite.

Though Kaili still kept muttering something to himself.

This strange feeling crawling back his bones ,that he couldn't just ignore.

And the main issue was yet to solve. Their mission wasn't certainly as straight as it seemed.

The members of this cell, weren't something one can call friends.

But they weren't completely strangers either.

They were just a group, put together for emergency missions.

They had worked several times before but even a dumb person could tell , they weren't much compatible.

Yet were named 'the thunder trio' by none other than Lord Boruto himself.

The reason being something, they could never understand.

Eren just shrugged him off. But he was low-key greatfull.

Though he would never say it out loud.

.....Kaili's POV.....

"Deliver the news to Boruto-sama. " Were Master Keren's exact words.

The three of us had that scripted in mind.

This certainly was going to be the most dangerous mission we ever took part in.

But that's not what I'm worried about.

What I'm scared of..

Is whether I could face him anymore.

To tell him that we failed.

Failed to protect his children.

As much as I want to run away and never show my face to him. We are the only ones who can do this.

I didn't spend much time with the children so I wasn't that close to them.

But I still don't want to imagine what will happen if we didn't get them back.

We don't want to make any more delays than we already have ,thanks to Mereda.

That bitch. I'll make sure to kill her myself.

If she hasn't died yet,that is. Master Keren must've took care of that already.

We left the place 2 days ago, and we're currently on the outskirts of the fire country.

Crossing the border Eren doubled his pace.We did the same and followed.

We were fully cloaked with just a symbol of our affiliation on either side of our long bell sleeves.

Soon, the Village gate appeared. FINALLY!!

NOW WE CAN SAVE THEM.!!GET THEM BACK AND BEAT THE SHIT OUTT-

Eren stopped abruptly. And I almost collapsed.

What is his damn problem?! Can't he act just a little more reasonable at times like these?!

"Damn it! We can't cross just like that. We don't have any proper notice! " Eren yelled in frustration.

What's the problem now?!

"Why don't we just enter ? Haven't we several times before?. I suggested eyeing the guards at the gate.

Then it clicked me.

Damn.

They were total strangers, not the usual shinobi we have met before.

There were certainly more in number than they normally do.

And their Hitai-ate...?

They differ in symbols.?!!

"Shinobi from different nations? What are they doing here? " The third person of our group asked.

We call him 'Alpha'.

Although we have worked several times before.

I never saw his face. He never speaks much.

I wonder if Eren knows him?

Damn it! This is not the time to think about all this!

"Would anyone tell me why is that?! "Eren yelled in frustration.

"You really think we have time for whining?! What's going on anyways?! " I countered.

"The Kage Summit." Alpha answered unexpectedly.

Damn it!!

"Shit!"

Usually we wouldn't have had a problem with passing the Village Gates.

Even the gaurds were acquainted with us. I've beat them at Shinobi-bout (which lord Boruto taught me years ago) several times.

But The Kage Summit was a ,whole ass, different story.

"They'll kill us even before we make a sound." Alpha said to particularly no one.

He's speaking more than usual today. I don't know whether that is a nice thing.

"Not to mention all the previous Kages are joining as well. " Eren added and went quiet, thinking.

Well that requires brain. So he ain't getting anywhere.

"We won't be able to cope up , battling even one of them. Facing all was out of question." Eren muttered looking at Alpha accusingly.

"Didn't you read the reports before we left? " He asked, turning to me.

Wait.. Why me?!!

"Hey! You take me for a fool or what? Ofcourse I did!There was no mention of the kage summit! "

"Damn it!! We weren't informed of the summit at all! How is that possible?! "Kaili kicked a stone near to him.

"We'll think about that later! We can't stay here all day either! The more we delay ,the more danger the kids might get in." I said which seemed to press a nerve of the two of them.

Damn it! .

A short silence followed .

"Guess there's only one way left." Alpha said abruptly before I could speak again.

Whatever 'way' he was talking about ,made Eren gulp and sweatdrop.

Which brought me to the conclusion that whatever the idea was, I'm not going to like it.

After a short pause Eren finally gave mysterious chuckle and spoke.

"Get ready guys." He said

"We have a summit to wade in"

I'm sorry for not updating frequently, I'm busy with my exams that haven't even started yet.

This chapter was necessary to include bcz these 3 characters are really important.

Next Chapter will be released on 24/10/2020 .
