1 Chapter 1: Goddess' Verdict

"Finally! That hateful mortal has finally died!"

"You don't have to be so worked up over a mere mortal do you sister Fertility?"

"Hmph! You say that sister Death but what will you feel if a mere mortal were to revive the dead a thousand times?"

"!..."

"See? Hmph! Hateful! The mortal disregarded the existence of my teachings and honor! He went and copulated with all those women then he ran away with all their belongings. He didn't even have the honour to take responsibility on a single one of them in his whole lifetime! Really really hateful!"

"... Alright, alright my sister. I knew you really dispised this particular mortal so I took a hold of his soul for you."

"... Really my sister? But wouldn't that make the God of Hell or Goddess of Heavens to confront you about it? Scratch that I'm sure that mortal will go to hell! But still sister, you know the God of Hell is troublesome to deal with. "

"Oh shush! The God of Hell and Goddess of Heavens alike are too busy taking care of all the souls coming from all the worlds. I don't think they'll mind this one soul... But... We will still need to bring this soul where it belongs or else that'll really be troublesome."

"Oh goody! That's great my sister. For he has trampled the teachings of this Goddess let me punish him before we throw him back to hell!"

Seeing this unfolding before them, the servants of the Goddess of Fertility nods in agreement over the event while the servants of the Goddess of Death merely watches the spectacle.

"Hmph! Gods are suppose to be all knowing yet look at them about to bully a poor pitiful soul." Brandishing a shine of divinity as it arrives, the silhouette glared at the two Goddesses with animosity.

"Who's there?!" Feeling the sudden negative intent towards thier respective masters, servants of both Goddesses immediately became alert towards the newcomer.

"...! Wait... Y-you are..." On the side of the servants of the Goddess of Fertility, the one with seemingly the highest rank was the first to recognize the silhouette.

"The Genderless Deity of Reincarnation. May I know why you are here in my Space? It's rare to see you coming out of your own Space on who-knows-where the corner of the vast universes it is." Towards the unprecedented visitor, the Goddess of Fertility asks cautiously.

"I have come to retreave that poor soul you got so kindly give it to me Fertility." The silhouette now identified as the Deity of Reincarnation replied although based on his/her tone it was not implied as a request but an order.

Noticing the atmosphere of the situation the Goddess of Death the decided to interfere.

"Wait Reincarnation! According to the correct order of things, a soul would first need to go through hell or heaven before being handed over to your domain of reincarnation. And this soul has committed grave sins that went against the teachings of the Goddess of Fertility in an astonishingly repeated number of times, there has been no precedent of this for thousands of years. And at this case according to the practice, the Deity of concern has the right to appoint his/her own punishment." Blocking it from coming any closer to the soul, the Goddess of Death put herself between the two.

"Hmph! That's right! This is all very well according to practice since time immemorial, I get to decided this soul's punishment!" Nodding vigorously at what her sister said the Goddess of Fertility stood her ground and clutched the soul in her hands hardly, indicating her indignance.

Seeing that the divinity around the Deity of Reincarnation spiked in anger causing the servants to fall on their knees at the mere pressure.

"FOOL!!!" The Deity of Reincarnation roared loadly even shaking the two Goddesses up in shock.

"Do not bestow upon the poor soul anymore sufferings! Fertility! Under the order of the God of Universes! Give. Me. THE SOUL!" Now with hostility the Deity of Reincarnation glared at the Goddess as It's pressure rose further, causing the servants to now lay on their spots.

"Father Universe?" The Goddess of Death stated in disbelief.

"What? Why? But this mortal has sinned countless of times towards my teachings..." She in further disbelief unknowingly let go of her clutch on the soul.

The soul floated towards the hand of the Deity of Reincarnation. And seeing as the soul did not suffer anything serious the Deity sighed in relief.

"... Why?... Reincarnation. Why did Father Universe order of this soul? This equates to disregarding my very existence!" Now with anger and indignance the Goddess yell towards the Deity of Reincarnation for answers.

Not being able to do anything for her sister, the Goddess of Death hugs her in pity. As she gives her comfort she too demanded for answers at the Genderless Deity with a questioning look.

"That's why I said Gods are suppose to be all knowing. You've been focusing too much on the mortal's faults..." Answering them with a disapproving look the Genderless Deity reprimanded the two.

This confused the two Goddesses. After all, isn't mortals all the same? They sin as they want, every mortal does it. Though the case of this mortal really is absurd but doesn't that mean he's just that vile like the ones before him?

"Very well I shall tell you..." And thus the Genderless Deity explained to them.

As they hear the story all those that is present is shocked. After all, there isn't any case of this happening before since time immemorial. This really is a delicate and special case. To say that they are shocked is an understatement. They are horrified of the event.

Pity. Extreme pity. Are what all felt for the mortal.

*Drip* "Oh gosh..." Tears fell from the eyes of the Goddess of Fertility.

Covering her face, she wallowed in shame of her previous actions. The Goddess of Death supported her and offered comfort. She to isn't an exception, for someone to go through what the mortal went through is horrible.

"To think I even intended to punish him afterward..." The Goddess cried for the mortal, she has never imagined that a mortal, no, a child, her child, for she is the one that governs over Fertility and in conjunction, children, basically every creature that breaths life, would shoulder sufferings equating to a whole world's worth of suffering like he did. And if the Deity of Reincarnation didn't come, then even in afterlife he would suffer immensely under the personal punishment of a God even more.

"And what about Fortune? He needs to be punished severely this time!" While holding her sister the Goddess of Death asks of what happened to the perpetrator of this all.

"His consciousness has been 'reset' by the God of Universes and his divinity and been reduced tremendously as well. Now he is to start over and this time the God of Universes would watch over him to make sure that he don't revert back to the way he is before." The Genderless Deity answered without any beat of emotion.

"Hmph! Serves him right. That bastard deserves it!" With anger and extreme hatred now pointed towards the God of Fortune and Misfortune the Goddess of Fertility slowly recovers from her heartbreak.

Noone there felt bad for the God of Fortune and Misfortune at all. Through out time, since the day of creation of the God's, the God of Fortune and Misfortune has always been irresponsible with his ways. Not caring at all of his job and does it just to get it over with so he could play as he want. Now with his carelessness, something like this happened, thus Noone sympathizes for him.

"Very well then, now that your aware of the situation I'll be taking this souk to the God of Universes for him to judge... " Finally turning around to leave, the Genderless Diety carefully holds the soul in his hands careful to make sure it experiences no more pain and suffering, for a soul is the barest and the most vulnerable at their pure form like this.

"Wait!" Shouts the Goddess of Fertility, earning her a questioning look from all those present.

"I understand now the circumstances of this soul and why he did crimes to such a degree but it is also true that he committed all those crimes and i have the rightful authority to be the one to judge him for this." She stated decidedly. This shocked everyone no doubt.

"Fertility!" Hearing this, the Deity of Reincarnation once again roared in anger. It cannot belive what it is hearing. The Goddess still wanted to punish the poor soul after knowing all the unfair sufferings he already went through? Sure he has committed all those sins but only because he was forced to. The Goddess should understand that but she still... Preposterious!

"I know! I know. But doing it like this and making Father Universe be the judge is against the costoms that has been there since time immemorial, it would be inappropriate. Just trust me, I know what I'm doing." The Goddess insisted.

"..." She has a point, the Genderless Deity and the Goddess of Death agreed with her at that. But still...

"Don't worry I won't punish him, but instead only test him to find out if his real heart, but he shouldn't suffer if he truly had committed those sins forcefully. It will be under the context of punishing a sinned soul, that way it won't go against the order of ways since the the time of creation." The Goddess of Fertility further pushed for her request decidedly.

"..."

"..."

"..."

The three Deities stayed quite for a short while. The two waiting for a response, the other thinking of how to respond.

"Hah... This... I cannot decide. But what you said is true... But then again the one who asked for this soul is the God of Universes..." Now troubled the Genderless Deity sighs in tiredness.

"..."

"..."

But still the two waits for It to decide.

"You know what? Just... Come with me... You explain yourself to the God of Universes." With It's authority the Genderless Deity was unable to decide.

"Very well." With this the Goddess of Fertility agrees with that they left the space.
