1 New World

At the beginning of the universe, five singularities created everything, but were naturally misunderstood by the most intelligent and advanced living beings ever seen.

These five singularities were the basis of the existence of biological diversity.

And due to their presence, in certain places, life would flourish, while in others, it would not.

Because the worlds would vibrate with all kinds of life, from unicellular to multicellular, be it plant life or animal life, while in others, there would be few species, sometimes based on totally different rules from those found elsewhere.

The universe was unfair, and while some places would be like paradises, others would be fiery hells.

And due to the different concentrations of each singularity in every part of the universe, while mortal life would arise in some places, in contrast, in others, immortality was attainable.

Billions upon billions of stardust clusters existed to be home to different life forms, among them was a humanoid species entitled Homo spirituale.

...

At the 'center' of the universe was Rinia, a small planet and one of the few homes of the genuine immortal beings in the universe.

However, immortality could not be considered synonymous with indestructibility, as some might envision.

An immortal could be killed. Immortality was the end of aging or the end of the cycle of life.

And how was this possible?

The answer was simple, through the cultivation of the soul!

The soul was the essence of every living being, which was an inherent property of the universe itself, derived from one of the five singularities.

And because it was a part of living beings, soul cultivation was possible in some appropriate places.

That was the activity pursued by all the living beings of Rinia, where all living beings could at least try to step into the journey of immortality.

However, the possibility of something happening did not come with the condition that it would happen!

As such, of the hundreds of millions of living beings on Rinia, especially from those millions of Homo spirituales, only a few would achieve immortality depending on their luck and efforts.

Among them was an ancient and powerful expert of Rinia who pursued the dream of immortality like no one else, trying to combine the five singularities to form a true immortal body.

Although there were methods of achieving immortality, some were better than others.

And as a researcher, this man, Tenur Orfeo, was in search of a method never seen before, one that would be perfect, one that would take him to the level of a God right after his advancement from being a mortal to an immortal.

"Time, Darkness, Light, Space, and Ethereal.

These five singularities came into being along with the universe and are part of it as essential and inseparable parts.

In the beginning, there was nothing.

But then…

Boom!

The five came into being as if by the will of a God, the primordial 'snap' was given, and thus beginning the cycle of life, destruction, and construction.

From then on, death and life arose…

But also cultivation!'"

Tenur Orfeo, who was considered extremely ugly, about 1.7 meters tall, overweight, without a beard or mustache, with black hair and brown eyes, repeated the words of the Holy Scripture in his mind.

"Tsk! Such nonsense. The universe is clearly chaotic!

It is by the combination of such several chances that amongst the countless trials and errors generated over these trillions of years since the origin of everything, some things got right and created this diversity.

There is no creator!

However, there are cultivators powerful enough to rule the universe like Gods!" He said these words out loud as if he was defending a critical thesis to others.

But he was alone while running in what seemed like a laboratory inside a mountain.

With a focused look in his eyes and wearing strange clothing, this man was manipulating various artifacts that glowed while emitting powerful energy currents.

"Hahahaha, I will prove to this universe how God is made!"

He laughed before once again continuing to mutter.

"By joining the five singularities, I will be the first at this level in Rinia!" He smiled in anticipation of the conclusion of his experiment.

When he said those words, the five powerful energy sources suddenly shot at each other from various points, after which they united into a single point, forming something bright, like the union of all colors, like a small white star that was about to explode.

This man then hurriedly rushed to the small altar that was placed right below that union of the five singularities and released all of his cultivation after sitting in a lotus position.

"That is my moment!

If I succeed, I will dominate Rinia!" He muttered while closing his eyes just before that white 'star' exploded, sending a beam of light toward him.

And as that happened, a powerful pulse emanated from that center of this high energy density, spreading throughout the planet.

Lightning began to appear in the skies, and darkness suddenly covered the whole planet, even with the four stars that illuminated 100% of its surface for all hours of the day.

When all the living beings of Rinia somehow watched what was about to happen, something occurred that was out of Tenur's control and also his planning!

As he felt abundant energy entering his body and transforming him from the very base of his life, the core of the union of singularities emitted a cracking sound.

Following that, the space at that location opened up like a sheet of paper being torn, revealing the lightless void of space.

After the appearance of the void, a powerful sucking force started pulling everything with a radius of 10 kilometers away into this small 20-centimeter-long opening in the fabric of space-time.

Tenur opened his eyes and gazed up, but by the time he realized what was happening, he had already passed a point of no return!

'What…? What is it?' That was all he could think of before the darkness where he was standing split into infinite holes, each carrying its contents to different points.

Amidst this, Tenur Orfeo lost consciousness, with only one word that came to his mind.

'Failure!'

...

The universe was vast.

In a remote corner of this vast universe was a relatively small blue planet, but it was about ten times bigger than Rinia.

Although this place lacked the possibility of soul cultivation, countless species had proliferated all over this cluster of stardust.

With its single moon and a favorable position relative to the only star present nearby, it was given a good chance for life to develop.

Amidst the diverse life forms which were developed on the planet, one species had been slowly dominating the planet's lands.

And this was particularly true for a group of people located in a portion of land marked by desert terrain but was close to some important springs.

In this place, next to a giant artificial structure that was built in the shape of a square pyramid, all of a sudden, a rift in space opened up above one of the beautiful massive structures.

And as this happened, the skies for over 100 kilometers darkened, and the atmospheric pressure began to increase, quickly bringing strong winds to the area, resulting in a storm.

Meanwhile, the spatial crack above also slowly started to get closed, but while a small opening remained,  a humanoid body fell from it and towards the top of the pyramid.

At first, it seemed like the body was falling into a miniature world. But, in a matter of seconds, the size of the body seemed to change as it became proportional to the measurements of this world.

Not only his body but everything in essence about it changed after he fell on this little planet!

Unfortunately or not, Tenur Orfeo would only find out the effects of this change later...

Ka-Boom!

Red lightning flashed nearby, marking the closing of that spatial rift while Tenur's body slammed against the hard stones of the pyramid resulting in a loud booming sound echoing through the region.

The shock of his body impacting that artificial structure had not been severe, but the pain felt in the bones was still enough for this man to be awakened.

"Ouch!"

Opening his eyes, Tenur expressed pain, but he could not scream or observe the surroundings as he quickly realized that his body was rolling like a barrel going down a ramp.

While this was happening, the guards of the building saw a strange person falling from the pyramid where a local leader had been entombed just a few days ago.

"Quick, stop this trespasser!"

"Arrest him immediately!"

Some of them shouted as they ran with weapons in their hands and dressed in low-quality leather armor.

Meanwhile, although Tenur could hear these people talking, the language they spoke was so strange that he didn't understand anything.

"Damn it!

What's happening?

Have I died?

And why am I even falling from this damned building?

And why can't I understand these mortals? Haven't I learned all of Rinia's languages?"

But he didn't know that he was far from Rinia and would soon encounter himself in a situation that he had never experienced, even when he was a weak young man!

Even with his thousands of years of experience, Tenur found himself being arrested for the first time in his existence!

The moment he stopped falling from that pyramid, Tenur was surrounded by those guards and beaten until he lost consciousness.

He was then taken to the local detention facility, where he would soon discover his destiny in this new world.
