19 Waiting For The Exam

He could've dodged it, or maybe catch it in the air and throw it back at her but he didn't. Not because he wanted her to feel satisfaction but because, in that split second time, he made a decision.

At this moment, on this day, he will do everything in his power to take everything away from her just because of sheer pettiness.

As the steaks landed on him, staining his clothes with oil along with his face, she laughed, pointed at him as she yelled, "That's what you fucking deserve, you stupid demon!" Then she tried to throw his remaining orders at him but somebody had already stopped her, arm locking her in the process. It was the clerk.

She kicked and screamed, saying, "Let me go! I'm gonna kill it! I'm gonna do what the fourth failed to do!!"

The clerk worriedly said, "Miyumi! Snap out of it! This isn't like you!"

Soon, Miyumi stopped flailing, and calmly said, "I-I'm alright, thanks for stopping me, Kaide-san. I'm calm now."

The clerk, Kaide, slowly removed her arms from her shoulders, while saying, "Are you sure? Then help me get a napkin so that we can clean this up, and apologize to our customer."

Miyumi nodded. She went towards him, and as the clerk was just about to turn around, she saw the waitress pick up one of the silver plates and throw it directly to the red-haired genin's face.

"LIKE HELL I WILL!!" She shouted with a deranged look on her face, and she was about to try it again but Kaide already had her restrained.

Helel caught the plate with his left hand. He removed his cloak and used it to wipe the oil off his face, as he looked at the two quite coldly, saying, "I thought I told you to bring me a competent waiter."

The clerk nervously stared at him while maintaining her arm lock on Miyumi, trying to think of ways to explain the situation, but in the end, she just said, "I sincerely apologize, shinobi-sama. I didn't think she would do something like this."

He noticed the change of honorifics but he paid it no mind, and stated, "You do know that what she did was a crime? It could be considered an assault, and since it was aimed at me, the Hokage might even get involved in this. It is possible that this restaurant might even face closure, if I report this to the Fourth."

Slowly, as his words set in, her realization turned to panic as she tried to find ways to calmly settle this in peace. The other customers are already staring at them, and the thing is, many shinobis don't hate the jinchuuriki. Most of their customers are shinobis. And she, herself, doesn't hate him because she's new in the village but she cannot lose her job!

She's aware of the laws the Hokage put to protect the jinchuuriki, and she knows how severe they are. If this restaurant closes, she's literally fucked. If she loses her job, she'll have to resort to prostitution, there's just no way she'll be able to afford living with her 1-year-old son without a job, even though the pay here is just 4000 Ryo, which is barely enough to support herself and a baby.

Then, he smiled at her, and she felt chills in her spine.

"But if you don't want to lose your job, you just have to do one thing; remove that waitress from this establishment and do your best to spread the news of what she had just done. Then, only then, would I not press any charges." He had already planned what he'll do towards the waitress, and it'll take about a week before she loses everything in her life.

Mostly because the chunin exam is literally just a few hours away, and he'll probably spend a few days there.

Miyumi glared at him heavily, and yelled, "If it weren't for your whore of a mother, my brother and sister would have still been alive today! But nooo, she just had to spread her legs to some man! That stupid cu—" she was cut-off when Kaide covered her mouth with her hand.

By this point, the other waiters were already going towards the commotion, and have started to carry the crazed waitress to the backroom. She had quit flailing a long time ago, knowing that it was futile.

The clerk was left with him, and she apologized nonstop towards him, saying, "Please accept my apology, Ren-sama," she just had learned his name from one of the waiters, "I'm really sorry for the inconvenience. I apologize for bringing someone like her to you. We will make sure to never let her into the Steak Dinner restaurant ever again."

Thankfully, only his cape seemed to have gotten splattered by the beefs' oil. His inner clothing got minimal of it. The only problem is the oil on his face and hair.

He looked at her, stood up, and politely said, "Kaide-san, I'd prefer if my order was delivered once more. I need it done by the time I'm finished in the bathroom."

She bowed deeply, and respectfully said, "Don't worry, Ren-sama, I'll tell it to the chefs."

As she was about to go to the kitchen to tell them about his order, he heard her say, "Oh, and, do you have some shampoo? The all-purpose one."

"I-I'll ask one of the men in the backroom, Ren-sama," honestly, even though it looks ridiculous to be this respectful towards a child, she still knew that she needed to do this. This child can make her lose her job in a heartbeat since he has connections with powerful people, including the Hokage.

(Minutes Later)

Turns out, washing off the oil on his hair is harder than it looks. But thankfully, since they had an all-purpose shampoo, he managed to completely wash it off after some time. Then he threw away his cape in the trash can because he decided to just buy a better one later.

Then, as he stared at the mirror in the bathroom, a glint of coldness flashed in his eyes. Even though he really wanted to rip that waitress apart, he didn't want her to die without any suffering. He made a vow to completely ruin her life, and he will do it with a smile.

His first step is to have her lose her job, which is going to be faster since there were people that have witnessed her saying that she wanted to kill him. Obviously, the person running this restaurant will do their best so that this situation won't escalate to something much bigger, by either removing the perpetrator from the establishment, or bribing him with loads of cash.

Or maybe both, but he'd rather if they chose the former.

He'll proceed to his second step later, after the preliminaries in the chunin exams.

After he got back to his table, he noticed that it had already been cleaned, with his food already being served. This time, it's a completely different waiter, not that waitress from earlier, which is good. Now he can finally dine in peace.

Soon, he finished all of the food he ordered without any distraction, and then after that, he paid the bill, left but not before they apologized to him profusely. They said that the waitress, Miyumi, was fired on the spot after the owner had heard about it.

He thanked them and immediately went to the location of where the chunin exams are going to take place, even though there are still 3 hours before it officially starts.

On the way there, he bought another black cape, wore it, and strode with it. Like his previous cape, it also goes past his knees. But in terms of fabric, it's better than the past one since it's made of silk.

Though, the only reason he managed to buy this was because he used an illusion to fool the owner of a shop to sell this to him, and at a cheaper price. He's basically committing a crime in broad daylight, and nobody was able to call him out on it because they didn't even know that he's doing something illegal.

It seems like Tier 2 illusionary spells are more than enough to fool every civilian in the village.

Anyway, the meeting place for the chunin exams this year is the facility that's a few kilometers away from the Forest of Death, also known as Training Ground No.44.

That facility has been abandoned for years now. It was made as a scientific laboratory to study the various, mutated creatures roaming around the Forest of Death. But due to an experiment gone wrong, which killed dozens upon dozens of experienced scientists, it was shut down, never to be entered again.

It is rumored that creatures more powerful and more terrifying than the ones in the forest roam that place, and since it's a pretty large building, it hasn't been explored much yet before the explorers were attacked by some kind of gigantic moth, that was the size of a bear.

There were actually numerous casualties in that place over the years, most of them being curious people thinking that the rumors were fake but found out the hard way that it was really true.

According to what he had read about the place, even Jonins were very cautious about entering the place. So it's a wonder why they would choose it for the chunin exams. Either way, the creatures there won't be able to hurt him, or at least kill him now that he's at the Demigod Realm.

He smiled as he stood on top of a tree, staring at the abandoned facility. He saw dozens upon dozens of aspiring chunins standing there. With keen eyes, he studied each and every genin, aiming for their forehead protectors. He noticed that there weren't any ninjas from Sound, meaning that Orochimaru won't probably try to invade Konoha, which is understandable, considering the fact the leaf has multiple A and S-Rank ninjas.

That snake wouldn't dare to touch the village at the moment but he's probably scheming something far more sinister for the future. Helel would look into it soon enough.

Then he smirked as he saw, using his Aura Field spell, two new jinchuurikis. One with green hair, and the other light blonde hair. Both of them are females, with one of them being a jonin, and the other, a genin.

He recognized them immediately. Fuu and Yugito, the only female Jinchuurikis in the anime.

Instantly, he thought about how he could coerce them into joining him but realized that he'll have to give up on the Nibi Jinchuuriki, considering how she's so close to the Raikage. Takigakure, however, can be ignored even if they complain that Konoha stole their Jinchuuriki. If need be, he can just destroy the entire village once he has entered level 3 of the Demigod Realm.

But that's unlikely to happen since they would never fight back against Konoha. The great leaf village has them beat in everything, and would suffer no consequences other than a slightly ruined reputation.

So, his plan at the moment is to snatch Fuu away from her village.

With one last glance at the green-haired girl, he vanished from the tree, seemingly into thin air.
