35 Chapter 34

Stark, Baratheon, Arryn, Tully...

The armies had arrived.

Meanwhile, the Dornish contingent had disembarked at the Blackwater bay with the peisoners in tow. It was quite a coincidence that everyone had arrived at King's Landing at the same time.

'This is one hell of a coinkidink.'

While Elia, Lyanna, and my men were greeting the Dornish contingent, I was standing in front of the rebel army and the three commanders; Ned Stark, Robert Baratheon and Jon Arryn.

"Allan, is it true?"

"Aye, I sacked the city by myself and killed Aerys Targaryen. It's under my control. All the men standing on the walls surrendered to me and have pledged their swords to me."

"You met them on the battlefield?" Robert asked while pointing to the burnt remains around him.

"Those were Lannister men. I have captured Tywin and his brothers, and they await my justice."

"Your justice? You crowned yourself as the king?!"

I blandly looked at the oaf and said, "No, I did not, but the city and its people are my responsibility as I captured it by conquest. Now, I know that four of the seven kindgoms have declared for you to be crowned as the new king. I will do so as well if you fulfill certain demands on mine."

Robert glowered and dismounted his horse. He strode towards me and held his warhammer to my face and said, "Who the fuck are you to make demands of me?! Know your fuckin' place, you peasant!"

[Apex aura activated]

Ned and Jon Arryn were climbing down their horses when Robert threatened me. When they blinked, Robert was already in my clutches. His warhammer was thrown away and I was holding a dagger to his throat.

"I'm the son of a bitch who can burn down the seven kingdoms to the ground. So, tread carefully when you speak to me. I have no good opinion of you and I won't hesitate to slit you open like a fruit. Your strength is nothing. Your armies are nothing. Your titles are nothing. You are just an ant whom I can crush under my feet."

To demonstrate the sheer disparity of power, I grabbed the gorget of his armor and began to tear it. With my halberd, my sword, and my armor equipped on my person, my strength was off the charts.

[Str: 70 (600)]

The steel of the gorget began to separate into two, and it tore like paper in my hands. Then, I tore his armor off and placed my fingers over his chest. Slowly, the skin over his chest began to tear under my fingers, and blood poured out of the wounds.

"I don't even need a knife to rip your heart out.

I know my place quite well, but you don't know yours."

I then looked at Ned and Jon. Their faces were ashen from what they had witnessed. I said to them, "Follow us to the city. Bring a hundred men of yours for your safety. The rest of your army can camp here or return. The war is over."

"W-What do you want from us?"

"Let's negotiate the terms of this oaf's ascension to the throne."

"Elia, are you unharmed?"

Oberyn and Doran were standing protectively next to their sister. They were greatly relieved that Elia and her children were alive.

"Yes, I wasn't harmed in any way."

"Tell us about this... Allan Curran. Did he truly do what you wrote in the letter?"

Elia then sat down and began to shakily breathe. The brothers got concerned and sat next to her. Then, she began to tell them about the man in question.

From the sacking of the city to the threat against Dorne. From Lyanna's return to the slaughter of the lions. Elia told a harrowing tale of bloodshed and gore of which one man was solely responsible. Some commonfolk had even begun to call him 'Red mist' for where armies fell, their blood sprayed high into the air and transformed into a mist that painted everything red.

The remains of that sacking could still be seen in the form of the dried blood on the walls all over the city. Even the top dome of the Sept of Balor wasn't spared. The rot of the blood had only added to the stench of the city.

The brothers were dumbfounded as they listened to the tale of the 'Stranger's sword'. It seemed to be a fantastical tale of a god who decended from high heavens. But, listening to their sister, they knew that it was true.

'It appears that going against Rhaegar was a good decision.. for us, for Elia, and for Dorne.'

Finally, everyone was in the throne room. I already had my armor and my weapons on my person. With impulsive brutes nearby, it was wise to be prepared to put them down.

Before I could talk about the future king, I had to deal with the pests from the westerlands.

"Tywin Lannister, it's up to you now. My opinion of you is going to help me decide the fate of all the noble houses in the westerlands. I have no mercy in my heart for you and yours. All Lannister boys will be sent to the wall to join the Night's Watch, without exception. That includes your sons, Tywin."

The old man's face lost all color, but he tried to keep his composure.

"Your daughter and all the other women will be made to join the silent sisters. All the young babes, they will be fostered in Dorne. As for all the Lannister men, that is, you and your brothers in blood, your loyal retainers... All will be put to the sword."

The Lannisters screamed and raged, crying injustice and demanding trial by combat.

I slammed the pole of my halberd on the stone below, cracking the ground and silencing everyone in the room. "You will have your trial by combat. You will be your own champions, and your opponent will be me. Take them away!"

The brothers were dragged away, and I finally paid attention to the others in the room.

"Robert Baratheon, you can take the throne. But, you will accept all demands that Lyanna puts in front of you."

"Lyanna?!" Ned and Robert exclaimed.

"Aye, she escaped from Rhaegar's captivity and arrived here a few days ago."

As I said that, the girl herself walked through the door and stood beside me. Robert was about to rush to her, but, Ned beat him to it and hugged his sister.

"I thought I'd lost you, Lya."

Lyanna hugged him back and softly said, "Like that prissy lizard could do anything to me."

"Lyanna!" Robert shouted. His eyes were wide and desperate.

The siblings broke their hug and looked back at Robert. Lyanna walked to him and said right to face, "I want out. I don't want to be wed to you. I don't like you. I don't love you. Send one of your filthy letters again, and I'll crush your balls! Force me to marry you and I'll slit your fuckin' throat and shove your prick down your stinkin' mouth on the fuckin' wedding night!!"

Then, she kneed the man in the balls.

'I guess I didn't have to say anything. Girl really knows how to get her point across.'

Thus marked the end of Robert Baratheon and Lyanna Stark's 'love story'.

It was a crushing and painful end.
