Chapter 264

He watched his wife and the four kids goofing around the kitchen when he finally followed them after his last phone call.

He would have joined them sooner, but he had things to deal with first before he could free his schedule for the rest of the day. Unfortunately, he had obligations that he could not drop at a whim.

"Aren't you going to work?" Damon remembered his wife asking, probably noticing his dress attire.

Instead of changing into his business suit, he picked casual shorts and a light shirt to match the hot weather outside. 

He noticed that compared to yesterday's cold temperature. Today was a bit toasty. Warm enough to enjoy a day under the sun.

"No, not today." He answered his wife, picking something similar for her in her closet. "You hardly wear any of your new clothes." He commented, seeing that most of them still had their tags on.
