A Cold War

SYNOPSIS It was the struggle between "Good" and "Bad" as neither could exist without the other. Hence, you could not judge neither, appearing on any individual. This is to maintain mutual balance for continuity and procreation. However, each would tend to overpower the other, as a result of frictions and contractions in their interactions. For every action taken there would be effect. To every injustice there will be justice; to every actions there will be reactions. While we are on the Good side. The Bad side will not give up the breathing space to prosper for long. Johnson Dove Ìwàdélé Ọmọ-owú was the sole son left behind by two couples, Prince Ọyẹ́tù Dove Ọmọ-Owú (Senior) and Ẹiyẹ́njó, his wife, before they both died mysteriously or rather we could say before they disappeared without any traces from this world, because their corpses were not found for burial purposes. There were different versions of what really happened to them. The family of Ọmọ-Owú were the Highest Priest and Priestess in an Ancient place called Yorùbá Dynasty. Yorùbá Dynasty was the land of many migrants from Ọyẹ́-Òtútù (water related) Dynasty, Àjàkágbà (Air related) Emirate, Kurumọ́ (earth related) Empire and Ràwùràwù (Fire related) Abyss. The Ọmọ-Owú family produces the Priest and Priestess who conducted the rituals to open the Portal's Gate in an Ancient Shrine, for other representatives of Yorùbá Dynasty, to attend the All Universes' Conference every hundred years. It was at the Conference that magical and Spiritual adjustments were made to phenomenon of life and also when capable individuals advanced to the upper Fermament. These adjustments invariably have physical impacts throughout the worlds. Some individuals advanced into the higher Fermament in their fleshy bodies while others, who had lost their fleshy bodies but their Souls had not desipated, and strong enough, made their advancement with their Souls. The Earth people as a whole were not the only one that attend the Conference. There were others from deferent worlds, who were not friendly to the Earth people. There were those who were allies and used to work together with them for mutual benefits who partook in the once in Century Summit. This was not the only thing that the Ọmọ-Owú family stand for. HUNTER'S DILEMMA

There were new arrivals to the world. They represented others who were allies to our world.

At Àjùrá valley, Lémpe, and Ìgbín Ríngíndín (a.k.a. Ìgbín) looked at each other and busted into laughter. Kàá ... kàá .... kàá .... kàá ... Àrèmọ-Ọ̀fọ́n (a.k.a. Arẹmọ) looked at them askancely and shook his head in displeasure. He said, "Kids, time is wealth, let's not waste it in playing around. We used time to work in our Galaxy." He stood up from the boulders and adjusted his clothes.

There was no doubt they were frequent travellers to this world. "Whom did you called your kids, Arẹmọ? Have you knocked your head on bamboo tree or you've taken too much wine?" Lémpe frowned. "Bastard .... that jabbing was unique, you know. What's the scores now?" Ìgbín interjected. They all busted into laughter again.

"Don't let's wasted any more time, I will meet up with you people at the Blacksmith place, our usual point." Arẹmọ said as he walked away from them. A few yards away, he disappeared into thin air then reappeared later as a big gray fox walking majestically deeper into the bushes. "Bastard... he liked posturing." The remaining people busted into another round of laughter.

They have not stopped laughing when they heard the sound of gun shot .... "Kooobbaaa ...!!!" followed by "Ògún yèè...!" Both Lémpe and Ìgbín jumped up from where they sat on the boulders and looked around. They too disappeared immediately as they watched from a safe distance within their invisible states. They could see the votex of big smoke where Arẹmọ was last seen. They were surprised and waited to see what had happened to him.

Before the smoke cleared, there were sounds of hurried footsteps. Jua ... jua ... jua ... as someone ran in their direction.

Soon a hunter appeared from the other side of the forest. "Ògún yèè ...!" The hunter was saying as he approached the place with a sharp matchet raised up in his hand. By the time he reached the place, the smoke had cleared. The fox was looking at him defiantly, with ridicule like a human. The hunter halted his step with the matchet hand raised, unable to bring it down. He was shaking like someone who had catched severe cold. The fox continued to look at him without moving from the spot. The animal shook it's head and walked away majestically. The hunter could not move , he was just shaking in the same place. The other people who were watching the drama released the breath that they did not know they have being holding, in relief. They were also surprised that Arẹmọ did not caused the hunter for his stupidity. That was for the best of course; it could be troublesome should Arẹmọ flared up in anger. They took the advantage and disappeared from the place. They had being planning to visit some places to look for certain missing treasures that was said to be in this place.

It was over thirty minutes before the hunter's sense restored and his body became alright again. He removed an Àdó from his hunting bag and poured out powdered substance onto his left palm to lick. "Ha ....! I thank God for His grace today. That's supposed to be the renowned fox that the Elder Hunters used to talk about. They were not exaggerating at all! I must go quickly to see Bàbál'oko. This was confirmation of the mystery behind ....." He was lost in thought. Lifting up his head, he shouted "Eríwo yàà ...!" and immediately disappeared.

Gija ....! He reappeared beside the Àtòrì tree at his backyard. His gun was slung on the left hand shoulder. Today's scene at the hunting forest was frightening and needed Elders' attention. This was the second time he would encountered such magical phenomenal. The first time, it was Bàbál'oko who bailed him out from an angry Phyton he killed. He nearly lost his soul to the foolish Phyton....! "I must visit Bàbá without delay." He rushed inside and did not even wait to exchange greetings with those inside. "Abikẹ .... tell Gbàbẹẹ to wait for me when he's back, I'm going to visit Bàbál'oko as a matter of urgency." "I will. Won't you at least eat something before you go? You hadn't eaten anything since morning?"

Abikẹ replied. " Eat something? What happened in the hunting forest today goes beyond eating right now. I will be back soon." He said as he went out.
