CHAPTER 8

At the same time, in the office of the owner of the White Tiger Bar, the atmosphere was heavy.

The bar owner, manager, security, and all the related staff trembled together in a huddle, as if they were all about to face imminent disaster. All because of the Deguzs' most precious treasure, Little White Tiger, had gone missing.

Sitting on the sofa, Zake Deguzs' expression was very cold. He was like an ice sculpture, without the slightest trace of emotion, but he exuded such tremendous pressure that everyone standing before him felt their legs shake, and their sweat falls like rain. No one dared to make a sound.

On his side was a young man kneeling by his feet, his face was full of tears and snot, "B-Big bro, I-I'm really sorry. It's all my fault! I shouldn't have bring Little White with me! If something's bad happen to him then I won't live any longer!"

After Zifan finished talking, a kick was thrown at his chest.

The sound of a bone breaking made their scalps tingle, everyone present trembled in fear.

Zifan clutched at his chest and coughed fiercely for a while before crawling back up and kneeled with a straight back again.

I think my ribcage is broken. - Zifan cried inside.

Their parents were still overseas and have not yet heard that Little White was missing. If they know, then it would not be settled with a simple kick from his older brother, they would peeled his skin alive!

"Find him within thirty minutes or else..."

*BANG*

Zake didn't finish his sentence when suddenly, a loud gunshot coming from the first floor of the building was heard. Everyone was startled and alarmed when they heard it.

"I-Is that a gunshot?" The bar owner asked.

"What are you still doing here? Go and check it!" Zifan ordered. He turned to look at his brother but did not see him.

"Where's my brother?" he asked the people around. They all looked at each other because they also didn't notice when and where did the Eldest Young Master went.

He was just sitting there a while ago...

After a few seconds, Zifan realized something then he suddenly rushed outside.

"SH*T! Little White!"

Everyone was flabbergasted to what they just witness! The gunshot that was supposed to be for the white tiger was blocked by a woman!

The guard who just pulled the trigger went pale seeing the woman lying on the floor.

"OH MY GOD!" someone exclaimed.

"Is she crazy?! She actually blocked the bullet!"

"What was she thinking?"

"What should we do?? The girl was shot and is losing so many blood!" A teenager shouted. But the people can't do anything. What can they possibly do? The white tiger was beside her body!

*ROAR*

They were all scared and they started trembling when the white tiger loudly growled and glared at them. It was as if any moment now, the white tiger would pounced at them. They can't even get out because the tiger was near the exit.

Everyone stepped back in fear.

But everyone was confused because the white tiger was blocking anyone who will approach Maezhei.

"P-Please, help her! Maezhei..." Kath pleaded helplessly while crying.

Daniel who was still holding her searched for his phone in his pocket to make a call but the person he was trying to call was out of coverage.

"Damn it! Why can't I contact this bastard!" he griped.

On the other side, both Silica and Dylan were stunned especially Dylan who stood frozen quite a while now while staring at the woman lying on the floor and her blood was all over her.

"M-Maezhei..." he blurted out still shocked. And when he realized that it's really Maezhei, he unconciously tried to approach her but the white tiger just growled at him.

*ROAR*

Dylan scan the place to see what he can possibly do to save her but there's nothing! This tiger in front of them was really big! Then he looked at the direction of the guards, who still looked pale as white.

"What the heck are you still doing?! Call some help!! NOW!" Silica was startled at the sudden outburst of Dylan. This is her first time seing his angry face and... fear?

Dylan tried to come closer again but a hand stopped him, "Are you insane? Do you want to be devoured by that tiger?!"

"Then what do you want me to do? Just watch her lose more blood??" he shouted at her.

Silica was stunned, "Did you just yelled at me?"

"Silica, I have no time for this. Your sister is in danger!" he quavered.

When Silica heard the tone of his voice, she felt pain on her heart. This is her first time seeing him this angry and scared.

Silica clenched her fists.

Silica composed herself and said, "I know but you can't act impulsively, okay? You will get hurt if---"

"I don't care! Maezhei's life is at stake!" Silica was startled again. She can't believe that as soon as Maezhei came back, she made Dylan act like this.

He was mad, he shouted at me for the first time and that worried expression on his face while staring at Maezhei... Maezhei again! Ugh! Why did she have to comeback?! - she angrily said to herself.

When Dylan saw the shocked on Silica's face, he felt frustrated. He didn't mean to shout at her, he was just really worried about Maezhei. Dylan ran his fingers on his hair in frustration.

"I'm sorry," he apologized then hugged Silica.

Dylan and Silica had been travelling outside the country in the past few months, that's why Dylan didn't know that Maezhei left the Dayone's Mansion. But when he learned about it, he tried to look for her because he knew that he was one of the reason why she left. He was worried about her. He wanted to see and apologize to her properly. But he couldn't find her.

Although he had initially wanted to ease Maezhei's pain by pretending that he still love her, he can't because in his heart, he had already chosen Silica.

"Snowy!! Heavens! Little White Tiger! Where did you run off to?" Zifan run and went closer to Little White Tiger upon seeing him. He was so happy that he burst into tears and didn't even mind his surroundings.

He felt relieved seeing that Snowy was okay. But when he was about to hug Snowy, the white tiger growled at him.

"Whoa. Little White, why are you glaring at me? I'm sorry, okay? I won't do it again. You're handsome uncle won't leave you again. Promise..." he said coaxing the white tiger while trying to come closer to him but Little White Tiger growled louder at him.

Everyone was frozen when a man suddenly rushed to the big white tiger but they were more shocked that the man was Zifan Deguzs. That's the time when they realize that the white tiger in front of them was the legendary white tiger of the Deguzs'!

"Oh my god! That's Zifan Deguzs, right?!" A woman exclaimed when she came back to her senses after a few seconds of being stunned.

Zifan who was crying, looked around and that's the only time he realized that there are people watching and staring at him in surprised.

Wait, when did this people arrived here? Why didn't I notice it a while ago? - He asked confusedly.

Zifan was so emotional that he burst into tears and didn't realize that there are other people in the room.

Seeing the scene in front of him, Zake walked a few steps to where the commotion was, then he grabbed Zifan's collar and throw him away. He squatted down in front of Little White Tiger.

"What happened?" he asked as if the tiger will answer him.

Seeing that it was Zake, the white tiger instantly stepped to the side, then went near to where a woman lying on the floor.

Zake's eyes widen when he saw a woman lying on the floor with blood on her clothes.
