Chapter 33

The meeting this time went smoothly, "Thank you, I look forward to good news from you," said the client shaking hands with Teo and then saying goodbye.

"Yes, you're welcome," replied Teo, shaking the client's hand.

Teo then sat back in the chair, he seemed to lose his focus, "What are you doing?" Jane asked curiously about Teo who was suddenly silent as if something was bothering him.

"Hah?" Teo said not hearing Jane's words.

"Why, how come I've seen you daydreaming a lot?" Jane repeated her question.

"Ahh it's okay, there's just something bothering me," said Teo seriously.

"Annoying how?" Jane asked curiously.

Teo turned his head towards Jane. Jane who saw it suddenly blushed remembering what happened yesterday at the cinema.

"So, before the meeting, I left," said Teo, starting to get serious.

"Does it continue?" Jane asked still not understanding.

"I met Kevin with his son," continued Teo.

"You met Kevin with his son? Isn't his son cute?" Jane asked curiously.

"The problem is, I've seen the child when shopping with Lala." Teo said trying to remember what happened that time.

"Huh, where have you seen Kevin's son?" Jane asked with a curious look on her face.

"At that time, when I was shopping with Lala, the strange thing was that Lala had said that she looked like she saw Val and a child at the shopping mall," said Teo, trying to explain.

"Continue?" Jane asked increasingly curious.

"Look at the kid and hear what you are saying, if Kevin is my model wife, I think something is up," Teo answered seriously.

"What thought?" Jane still doesn't understand Teo's line of thought.

"Kevin married Val." Theo said suddenly.

"HAH!" Jane shouted as if she couldn't believe Teo's words.

"But this is just my guess and not necessarily what Lala saw at the time, Val." Teo replied trying to think positive first.

"Where did you get that weird idea from?" Jane said curiously and surprised at the same time.

"I've already said that this is just my guess and what Lala saw at that time might not be Val." Teo said repeating his words.

Actually, Teo didn't want to admit that he actually started to suspect something, his hunch when he saw the boy was very strong. He immediately remembered the words of Lala who saw Val while shopping.

But Teo still tried to hide his surprise, he wanted to investigate it himself. Plus at that time he had seen Val like holding a child, adding to Teo's confidence that it was Val and Kevin's child.

"Don't be silly, is it time for Val to be with Kevin." Said Jane still couldn't believe Teo's words earlier.

"I already said it was just my guess," said Teo.

"I need your friend's number at that time," Teo said asking for Chelsea's number.

"What for?" Jane asked curiously.

"There's something I want to confirm first," said Teo. Then Jane gave her friend's number.

"What do you want to ask Chelsea?" Jane asked curiously.

"I'm not going to ask Chelsea but I will ask her husband who is a friend of Kevin, for sure he knows who his wife is," said Teo seriously.

The time showed 13:44 Teo and Jane decided to go back to the office. During the trip Teo really couldn't focus he was still curious about his suspicions.

While in his study, Teo couldn't focus after the incident, his hunch was that Val was cheating on him.

The moon in the sky began to appear indicating that it was night, the calm atmosphere this morning suddenly turned bad.

Teo was silent in his room thinking about what happened earlier in the restaurant.

Teo tried to sort the events that he had experienced one by one.

The first incident happened while shopping with Lala, he met the little boy while he was about to pick up chocolate. Then Lala said if she saw Val with a small child, Lala probably saw the wrong person.

Second, hearing Kevin's wife is a model, it could be someone else's mother for the child, because the model in this country is not only Val.

The three Amels had heard rumors that Val met a tall man. It also can't be proof that Val is having an affair. In fact he and Val had met and ate together, they could have seen Teo.

Teo tried to think of what else could be used as a clue? "Actually, what else makes it awkward," said Teo in his heart. Suddenly he remembered something.

He remembered that Val had said he was afraid that if Val was honest, Teo would be angry and hate him.

But Teo tried not to be provoked by his ego, he still tried to relax and focus. The only way to convince her suspicions is through Jane's friend named Chelsea.

Chelsea's husband is a friend of Kevin's and according to the information he got, Kevin is married to a model. He wanted to ask directly who Kevin's wife really was.

But why did Val leave him? Did he do something wrong that Val left him first?

Even though their relationship is going well, even though there are fights but they can fix every problem that is present in the relationship.

Teo's mind started to mess up he was very sure if Val was cheating on him. Remembering Val who suddenly left without any clarity, it made him even more sure.

But Teo never thought that Val would cheat. While he waited for Val to return, Teo tried to think positively about Val.

Teo starts to think about things that he shouldn't be thinking about, he starts to go back to the way he was when he was depressed.

Teo's heart was beating fast, out of control he began to ramble uncontrollably. But Teo tried to stay calm and think positive. He didn't want something like this to happen again.

He tried to control his mind which was like a wild bull. Teo was really struggling like a cowboy doing a Rodeo in his mind.

But the wild bull is getting tamed the more aggressive it will be, Teo needs help to deal with this wild mind.

Teo tried to get up and walked towards the balcony trying to relax in the middle of the quiet night by looking at the stars and moon accompanied by a cold night breeze.

Teo took a cigarette and lit a match and set it on fire. Teo inhaled a cigarette and then exhaled the smoke out.

Every breath of cigarette smoke that he exhaled was able to calm him down and become more relaxed. Although this method is actually unhealthy, because it can damage the lungs, Teo has no other way to calm himself down.

Meanwhile, Jane is on the phone with Lee telling about today's incident with Teo.

"Teo thinks Val is cheating on him with Kevin." Said Jane when calling Lee.

"How can a fool have such thoughts?" Lee asked curiously.

Then Jane explained everything Teo said this afternoon in detail, "I guess so," said Jane after explaining at length where Teo's thoughts came from.

Lee who heard it did not expect that Teo finally kissed the affair in his relationship, it was really beyond Lee's expectation because he thought that Val would be honest with himself.

Lee is annoyed with Val because so far he hasn't told Teo everything.

Lee began to worry about Teo's condition, he remembered the past when Teo was depressed which came from Teo's wild thoughts.
