Dungeon Advancment

"Damn wolves!" Gareth cursed. "How dare you stop Master Forest."

Gareth spread his hands as his body was covered in a dark light. He then flashed forward at an inhuman speed. Each time he passed a wolf, its throat would be cut.

The others who were about to retreat, charged after the vampire and joined him. Each wolf was still a good chuck of experience.

They plunged into the wolf pack and went on a killing rampage.

*AHWOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!*

A deafening wolf howl sounded from the forest. A dark green wolf that was over 8 feet tall while standing on four legs stuck his head out of the forest. The moment it howled, the surviving wolves ran towards the forest and plunged deeper inside. The massive wolf glared towards Chuck and his friends before taking a step back and disappearing into the trees.

"Damn, that was crazy." Kyle said as he dropped onto his butt and pulled out his pipe and lit it up.

"I am glad you are alright Master Forest." Gareth said.

"Thank you for the help. You saved us. Thankfully the sun went down at the right time. But how did you know we were in trouble?"

"It was actually the dwarf Scooter who noticed something was wrong. He went to check the surroundings today and reported that there were several wolf tracks in the area. A large amount. I remembered you had a small skirmish yesterday and came out once the sun was set to see if I could find out where they were. I wanted to know if they were planning…. Well, I wanted to know if they were planning this. But when I came out-."

"Ahh, I see. Well thank you for all your help."

"Good guy. What a good guy." Said Kyle as he stood back up.

"Right, this is my friend Kyle. Kyle, this is Gareth. He is kind of like the manager of the dungeon/ restaurant. He is pretty smart and really strong."

"You flatter me with your praise Master Forest. I Have already sent the cattle inside and instructed Lady Stone and Scooter to keep an eye on them, so the Night Stalker Panthers won't get any funny ideas."

"Great, thanks. I am glad my babies were able to make it inside safe." Kyle said.

"Alright, Let's collect the wolves and head inside."

While they cleaned up the wolves, Chuck checked his notifications. He had gained a level and made it to 11. Crumb advanced to 13. And Kyle shot all the way up to level 9 and was halfway to level 10.

After everything was cleaned up, they found that they had killed 89 wolves. It was a pretty good haul.

A dozen small lizard like creatures hid behind a nearby hill. They stood on two legs, wore makeshift clothing and used tools. They shouldn't be mistaken for lizard men, because when fully grown, these creatures were only 3-4 feet tall. They are kobolds.

A well-built kobold crawled down the hill towards his friends waiting below.

"Boss, what did you see?" One of the men asked.

"That bastard who killed TuKk and took his cows is now hiding in a dungeon at the base of the mountain. His allies look strong but are nothing special. Glick, Crunk, the both of you are to return to the clan's main dungeon and notify our lord. We can't let this arrogant fellow think he pulled one over on us. Come back with sufficient manpower. We will wipe the fools from the face of this world."

"Yes Boss!" The two replied in unison.

"Everyone else, let's look for an abandon dungeon we can use as a temporary base. We will take shifts and maintain our surveillance. That farmer won't slip away from us again."

The farmer in question, didn't even know that he had made an enemy of a large kobold clan. He was too busy looking around the first floor of Chuck's dungeon.

"Not bad, not bad at all." Kyle said as he looked at the grass that the cows were munching on.

[New Core detected belonging to a member of the human race that is on your friends list. New option added.]

Chuck was surprised since he wasn't even in the core room.

[3 options available]

[1st option: Shatter core and claim 782 DP]

[2nd option: Merge core and acquire 810 square feet of dungeon space]

[3rd option: Fuse core to create sub-dungeon with second core room. Sub-dungeon will be required to give 20% of its daily allowance to the main dungeon. "Hey bro, what's up?" Kyle asked when he saw Chuck staring into space.

"Dude! Dude!" Chuck said excitedly.

"Bro! Bro!" Kyle responded.

"When you came in here it unlocked a new option since you are on my friends list and are a human. You can make a sub-dungeon inside my own dungeon."

"Ha, ha, that's pretty baller. Is there any draw back?"

"You have to pay rent. 20% of your daily allowance and 20% whenever you consume a core. Your dungeon level is also limited to never be higher than mine."

"That isn't a problem at all. I will gladly pay rent for protection."

"Great, let's go to the core room and get it settled."

"Hey bro's thanks for watching my babies. Just keep an eye on them for a minute longer." Kyle said as he ran past the two dwarves.

The quickly made it to the second floor.

"Damn, your restaurant is legit. You gonna make me some good food right?" Kyle asked.

"You know it, but I may need to get some things from your farm."

"Ha, ha, it's a deal. Oh snap, you have a refrigerator. Nice. I got a bunch of milk that I thought I was going to have to throw out. Let me store it inside. But heads up. It has been warm for a day and a half already. You should try to use it today or tomorrow."

"Sure, sure, throw it in there. Crumb. Why don't you practice butchering a couple of wolves? We are going to have a big feast tonight so work hard."

Crumb eagerly nodded and went to the 10 wolves that Chuck threw down.

He then turned back to see the entire fridge almost filled to the brim with jars of milk.

"What the hell."

"My babies make a lot of milk." Kyle said.

He then followed Chuck into the core room.

"Not bad. You got a pretty nice set up in here."

Kyle then handed Chuck his own core.

He immediately selected the third option and fused them. The core vanished and Chuck was informed that there was now a third floor.

"Ha, ha, great."

Chuck then moved the floor to the second position and his restaurant dropped to become the third floor.

"It's done, let's take a look."

Kyle and Chuck vanished from the third floor and appeared in an empty dungeon room. It was the standard 20x100x15. The only difference was that next to the entrance to the lower level, there was a door that led to a sub-dungeons core room.

"Awesome, this is legit. I still have my own core room." Said Kyle as he led Chuck into the core room. "I have collected 6 cores so far and I originally was planning to give them to you but…"

"No problem, man. Upgrade your farm. You got to make a place for your cattle and have room to grow some plants."

"Great. I will get started right away."

"Okay, I have my own cores to take care of. Come down for dinner when you are done." Chuck said before he teleported back to his own core room. He took out the 5 star core first.
