Clara furrowed hearing him speak.

James scoffed at her fuming gaze and said," I am not here to justify my friend or tell side him. But have you ever tried to find a person who claimed to love you suddenly left? There must be a reason right?" 

"Regina your sister brainwashed him by showing him your pictures with a man. She said you were cheating on him and you would soon elope with that man"

Clara froze upon hearing James' declaration.

"But w-why would he believe her? Adrian didn't even know her. I never told him about my family" Clara stated, still not ready to accept whatever James confessed.

"Clara you know Regina can go to any extent to ruin your life and Adrian just got caught in her lies" This time it was Abby who cut in. She wanted Clara to once clear her head and think carefully. 

Now that Abby knew the truth, she could now understand Adrian.
