"If she had not returned, Adrian would've been mine" Regina voiced her displeasure. Her eyes burned with intense rage.

Tears kept streaming down her eyes but she refused to wipe them off. 

"But I won't let her take Adrian from me. He is mine, ONLY MINE!!" Regina yelled as she couldn't accept her defeat.

Adrian might have cut ties with her, but she won't give up. 

Derek couldn't help but stare at her silently. There was nothing he could do to change her mind nor he could see her pain.

Heaving out a deep breath, Derek picked her in his arms and carried her to the bed.

Regina kept on blabbering while watching Derek making her lay on the bed.

"Go to sleep. You are a waste" Derek said solemnly and sat next to her. His hand then gently started caressing her head hoping she might doze to sleep but to his surprise, Regina didn't wink.

Instead, her eyes sensually stared at him and she slowly rose from the bed.
