Clara blinked her eyes getting flustered by Adrian's words and watched him step back. His hand around her waist slowly loosened and she watched him wink playfully before retreating to get changed.

Clara was caught off guard by Adrian's change in behavior. He was suddenly being flirty with her and that amused her in a good way.

Once Adrian got ready, the duo left the house and drove to the company.

"How's Mello?" Adrian asked breaking the silence inside the car.

Clara turned her head towards Adrian and watched him smile. "I wished to spend more time with him" he added leaving Clara baffled by his request.

Adrian's reaction was way different from what Clara assumed. She thought Adrian would refuse to even accept Mello as his blood, but to her surprise, Adrian was willing to marry her because he didn't want Mello to yearn for both his parent's love.
