You deserve to be spoilt

Yu Chen blushed as Si Xia drove out of the Mo mansion. She had never been spoilt in her life, not really.

She came from an average family, and though her parents loved her with all they had and Chen always considered herself to be very blessed, she had never been spoilt. Her parents weren't rich enough to afford the necessary luxuries, let alone spoil their kids. But it was not that Chen minded it, she had just learnt very early in life to get by with what she had and be happy with it.

So now, hearing from Si Xia that she deserved to be spoilt, Chen felt like she had been set on a pedestal, and it made her blush.

Yu Chen's thoughts were broken by Si Xia's voice. "So, now to see Kio?" he asked.

Yu Chen was surprised and tilted her head, "How did you know that?"

Si Xia chuckled and flicked her forehead, "I know all that goes on in that devil mind."

He had expected Chen to retort or play the victim, like she did whenever she was happy, but instead, Yu Chen quietly leaned against Si Xia's shoulder and whispered, "You'll always be with me, right Xia?"

Si Xia chuckled and turned his head a fraction and kissed the top of Chen's head before focusing on the road again. "Of course. We'll always be together." he said.

Yu Chen reached over and planted a kiss on Xia's neck before leaning on his shoulder again. "Seems like you don't value your life." Si Xia spoke with a chuckle.

"Hmm? Why?" Yu Chen asked, her eyes closed. She felt strangely at peace and didn't want anything else than to lean on Si Xia's shoulder for eternity.

"Kiss me like that once more and I'll pounce on you. And then we'll be together in heaven." Si Xia said with a slight growl.

Yu Chen blushed and moved away from Si Xia, who cried out in dissatisfaction. "Focus on the road. This devil still has too much to do on earth." Chen said, a hint of smile playing on her lips.

Yu Chen had gotten dead tired during the day.

She was yawning by the time the two came out of the hospital after visiting Mo Kio and had fallen asleep during the ride home.

Si Xia's eyes melted upon seeing her petite figure in the passenger seat, he was going to protect his love with his life.

Xia stopped the car in front of Chen's apartment and gently shook Yu Chen in the passenger seat. "Chen? Chen? Get up. We're home." he said. But getting no response from Chen, Xia sighed and shook his head.

He climbed out of the car and walked around towards the passenger seat.

While Si Xia was making the round, Yu Chen opened her eyes for a second and stuck out her tongue before closing them again.

She had actually woken up when Si Xia had called out to her, but had pretended to be asleep. Just so she could be carried upstairs by him.

Si Xia walked around the car and opened the door. He had his coat in his hand and wrapped it securely around Chen before gently lifting her up in his arms. Xia took Chen in his arms and brought her out of the car.
