I gave it a try since it had some good reviews. Overall a good story but there is too many ocs because its set in the future. That makes it hard for me to care about anything after the highschool arc. I think that if you had set the story in the past it wouldve have been more interesting but thats personnal preference. Overall Great main character and if you like ocs and dont care about being familiar with the players he will play against this story is for you but not for me.
So this has some huge amazing upside as a fanfic. Its an amazing story about an op player who is white which is awesome as you dont see alot of all around dominant white players when u talk greates its MJ labron kobe. But thier are now glaring plot wholes coming. one is instead of having to fight players hes having to fight refs who are allowing him to get hit with flagrant fouls. That would not happen NBA wouldnt allow it. if he got a carrer ending injury that would mean losses of millions if not billions of dollars in potential revenue. Not only that but it would also mean he can sue for hostile work invironment i mean the NBA is his employer and they are allowing him to possibly get injured. thier are smaller mistskes like NYU not having a D1 gymnastics team. his girl should have gone to cornell that does have a good school and D1 gymnastics. I havent heard him mention the players union or anything.
I read till chapter 40 and although I don't actively follow basketball, I know some stuff from Kuroko no Basket and I must say, the MC is overpowered. This ff is good, undoubtedly, but I would personally like to see some setbacks, defeats and training Unique skills and stuff that will build him up to be someone really inspiring. A 17 year old beating a veteran, although possible, it'll be like like saying Vinicius could out dribble Ronaldinho. I don't know basketball history all that much but even I find it a bit ridiculous. So in good faith, I'ma give you a 4 star review.
This is a hidden gem the plotline is one of the best out of basketball novels and the novel itself can be addicting to read and is very good. I love how the mc acts and its a small surprise with his height. The only thing I can really "complain" about is maybe not as long time skips even though the author used it in a very good way. I wish the chaps were longer and more chaps in general but I won't complain. Keep up the good work author and I pray to God that you will continue this story thank you.πππ
The story is solid if a little bit cliche at times, sprinkled with some twist here and there. Character driven story is the theme of this novel instead of plot driven one. There are no adversary for self reflection the MC would face as his system practically make him Basketball Jesus. The conflict would be outside the court most of the time. This can be considered a weakness of the novel, or it's strength from a different point of view depending on the author skill to write such character. Although I fear a chapter so short for once a week release in the future after it catch up with the NBA arc would hamper the story. Rule of thumb, if you can see a chapter ending by a scroll from the bottom of your phone to the top most part, it might be too short all things considered.
I think this is a great book but at the same time thereβs no real progression in the story line it took 100 chapter to get to his first nba game and then another 10 for the next one I just believe you need to start writing longer chapters thatβs really the only problem with the book tbh. Lack of content and trying to make the story go at a super slow pace can have readers feeling like the books not worth to read. But great job otherwise
I love it very much, though there are a few errors, but itβs nothing that takes away from the story. I wish author would take a break from his other books so that he can focus on this more. The plot is so good.. the drama, the suspense, mix of real life activities and pure fiction in basketball. Very good mix and compliments well with the story.
i like its a refreshing story about a op mc who also trains hardπππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππβΊππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππ
