22 Chapter 22: The second?
"*zyuuuu~*" The light gray with wispy blue and white accentss furred fox mewled as it tried to open its eyes.
Its ears are primarily gray with split cuts and a slight blue tint at the tips.
and as it opened its wispy blue eyelids it revealed its shiny golden yellow irises comparable to polished gems.
its limbs are tipped in black. while the tuft of fur on its head, the ruff around its neck, and its tail are all white at their bases, with long wisps of fur that fade to light blue at the tips, looking all smoother in appearance.
It looks, rather melancholic somehow, even though it was only recently born, but its melancholic face didn't last long because as it opened its eyes fully, it met with Andre's own.
The two stayed there, face to face staring at each others eyes, it lasted for a while before the fox like pokemon suddenly jumped towards Andre happily.
and seeing it jump towards him, Andre was not panicked, in fact he happily caught the little guy with a tear in his eyes.
And so, the previous stare down turned into a hug session, as both happily cuddled with each other, washing Andre's sadness and melancholy off him, replaced with happiness and gratefulness, towards the person who helped him reunite with his previously passed pet.
"Oh wow, it seems like it actually kept or recovered its previous life's memory" Siesta said, surprising the soul out of Zeke, who was surprised as well, not because of Andre and the Pokemon's seemingly closeness despite meeting for the first time.
Instead, Zeke was surprised about the pokemon itself as it's not only a super rare pokemon, a zorua thats rarely found in kalos, its actually an ancient regional variant from hisui, a hisuian zorua, and thats not even the end of it, on top of all of that, its even a shiny.
and added the fact that this pokemon is actually the reincarnation of a passes companion of his first customer, and now! it seems that it actually still has its memories of his past life?
Zeke didn't know who's lucky, this Zorua or this first customer of his, probably even both of them?
still, Zeke is super happy seeing that the two is reunited once more even after the desth of one of them.

"Wah! What the heck Siesta! don't scare me like that! my soul almost left my body..sheesh!" Zeke scolded Siesta, while holding his chest, trying to regain control over his strongly beating heart.
"Tehee!~ my bad." Siesta replied with the most cliche reply ever from girls who did something bad but doesn't wanna get punished, in anime.
"too cliche Siesta..."Zeke replied, looking at the girl who still has her tongue out with a poker face.
Siesta is a pretty confusing person for Zeke, its as if she has multiple personalities as she can be a Kuudere at one point then a Deredere at other times, still Zeke doesn't mind and instead welcomes it fully, since its kinda fun seeing a person having this personality once and then switch to another.
"my bad, I guess this doesn't work for you, huh? the others said that this one works always for their host." Siesta replies flatly, before she looked back towards the two whos still cuddling and said, those two are very lucky, they must have been blessed by the world's will.
seeing Siesta looking at the two and hearing her words, Zeke nodded and replies.
"Yeah, must be... and on that note, what are the odds of this happening anyways?"
Siesta took a while, before answering.
"Pretty low chance, approximately at 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000-mph!"
"Stop! Stop!" Zeke stopped Siesta by covering her mouth as she sounded like a broken recorder for a moment, snd said. "Lets just say that its pretty rare and leave it at that...okay?"
Siesta nodded, and seeing that, Zeke sighed in relief before lowering his palm from her mouth.
"By the way, wheres Ditto?" Zeke asked her, not seeing Ditto anywhere around.
"He's asleep, a very good thing for a newborn Pokemon like him..."Siesta replied robotically.
"I see, I'm glad he's resting well, since a few days from now on, I'll be starting on training him both physically and for his moves"Zeke replied, turning his eyes towards Siesta before he continued.
"So....how much should we charge our first customer? since I'm sure he will definitely be buying that hisuian zorua."
"Its your choice, since you did said that earning money isn't your first priority, you can just charge for how much you want it to be.
Do remember that you can earn SP just by selling pokemon in general, based by the rarity of the pokemon you sell, and its potential" Siesta replied.¹
"Wait, how does that work again? how does the system assign how many points you get from the Pokemon I sell, and how do you multiply it using its potential?"Zeke asked, his face full of confusion.
"The system gives points based on how rare it is to find that pokemon in their respective region, and as for "how to multiply it by its potential", each potential is assigned a number by the system and you will multiply the points by that number.
common/white being 5, uncommon/green 20, rare/blue 50, epic/violet 100, legend/orange 250, and so on... so lets take a ratata with a white potential for an example, it can be seen anywhere but it isnt that weak compared to some bug types so its 5SP, then you multiply it by its the number assigned to its potential which is 5 which will bring us 25.
thats basically it, and by the way, you can check the points that the pokemon will sell for if you use appraisal on it"
"I see, thanks for clearing my doubts... so now lets check how much we can earn from a Hisuian Zorua with blue potential shall we?" Zeke replied before he looked back towards the now approaching Andre carrying his Zorua.

"Eh? Is this good or bad? considering that a Hisuian Zorua is super rare and all that due to their tendency to hide, which they do pretty well.."Zeke asked after seeing the PIS.
Hearing his question, Siesta thought for a moment before replying.
"This is actually high you know? since maximum points that you get from the pokemon you sell is only up to a hundred, and thats for those pseudo-legends, just beneath them are the pokemon like Zorua and Ralts who are pretty hard to find in the wild, due to their shy nature, or the harsh environment they usually reside"
"I see, so it just really depends on the potential of the egg I buy...but wouldn't that cause a market colapse if I just haphazardly sell lots of high potential pokemon?"Zeke questioned
"Oh yes it will, but at the end of the day you choose what you can do, the system and I are just here to assist you with whatever your goal is, anyways, well talk more about that later, for now worry about your first, and second customer, I'll go back and see Ditto." After saying that, Siesta walked away, exiting the daycare.
"Wait, did you just say second?"Before he could ask for more clarification Siesta already walked out the daycare.
Zeke looked around confusedly before he saw a glimpse of a person on the window from the halway which quickly receded.
but before he could even question who that was his attention was caught by Andre as he arrived in front of him, carrying his Zorua.
So, Zeke just threw that matter on the back of his head temporarily and focused on the two in front of him.
"So? Did whatever hatch in the egg surprise you?"Zeke asked Andre with a smug face.
"Haha, of course it will, even if it didn't shock me, I would still pay to get this little guy.."Andre replied, booping Zorua's face as he did so,
and it looked like Zorua enjoyed it as well as its tail wagged a lot despite its face still looking somewhat melancholic.
"Yeah! you're so lucky you got this guy.. as its species is actually one of the rarest and stronger there is..
They are called Zorua and they are a master at illusion, especially so on themselves and this particular one is an ancient regional variant that comes from the cold forest of Hisui.
They actually are quite shy and distant, even if you hatch an egg of them, but surprisingly this guy is not like the rest."Zke explained which Andre seriously took note upon.
"I will let my assistant explain more later, for now follow me out as I need to entertain another guest it seems.."
"Alright, well follow you...". "*Zoua!*" Andre and zorua replied.
Seeing this, Zeke could not help but smile, as he is reminded when he and Ditto met for the first time as well.
Zeke and Andre along with zorua proceeded to go out of the daycare, and there he saw Siesta, the sleeping Ditto and a new but unexpected face, a female, Donning in lustrous golden hair that fades into pink at the end, tied in a bright red ribbon, standing on top on her head.
Wearing a pretty casual outfit consisting of a white and turquoise striped long sleeve shirt, and a very fitting jeans.
But what surprised Zeke the most is the girl's Identity, which is none other than Kirisaki Chitoge, the female lead of an anime he used to watch in the past called Nisekoi, so you could have guessed Zeke's surprise, seeing a character from an anime which he used to admire is now standing or rather sitting right in front of him rather nervously.
But! When Zeke thought about the whole thing that he's doing right now one more time, selling Pokemon which is also only existed from an Anime he used to watch in the past.
It doesn't really take a genius to consider that other anime characters are alive IRL, especially so when he literally has a function that would let him travel to different anime worlds in the whole multiverse.
So, Zeke just took a deep breath before he got back to his normal self.
"Siesta, could you finalize things with Andre, here and explain the things needed to explain about the Hisuian zorua species as a whole? oh! and also show him towards the Poke-Mart and show him to the pokedex section, I'll join both of you after this." He asked Siesta, who's reading a book where god knows where came from.
"Of course! right this way sir." Siesta complied, leading Andre towards the Poke-mart.
Leaving Zeke looking at Chitoge whom stared at zorua with stars in her eyes as they walked towards the Poke-mart, only waking up after the door towards it closed.
"Good morning and, how may I help you today miss?" Zeke greeted.
Hearing his voice, Chitoge finally remembered where he is right now and looked back towards Zeke and greeted back rather awkwardly.
"Yes? Ah! I apologize for being distracted just now!, My name is Chitoge, and I would like to see the pets you are selling,
I saw you guys when I entered and when I saw that little guy, I immediately fell in love!So! im here to ask if you still have more of them!"
"I see...and to answer your question, It is up to fate and luck if you get a Pokemon like zorua" Zeke replied calmly.
"Huh? Pokemon?"She asked full of confusion.
Hearing this, Zeke sighed inside his head and thought 'here we go again' before he started to explain all the things that she needed to learn about pokemon.
It lasted a good few minutes as well, and her reaction is exactly the same as Andre before, full of doubt.
Thankfully Ditto woke up right in time, so Zeke showed her a demonstration just like the one he showed Andre, making her believe him.
"Wow...just wow....who knew creatures like these are real..."Chitoge muttered with disbelief after seeing a small hedgehog turned into an otter before turning into a Siamese cat and then a lion.
"So? are you gonna proceed?"Zeke asked curiously.
"Heck yea!"Chitoger replied with no hesitation whatsoever catching Zeke of guard but he just shrugged before he lead Chitoge to choose a pokemon egg.
"Now! choose one of these eggs, and lets see what fate has in store for you"
