35 Chapter 27 - Solving Problem

Even though Touma more or less already knew, what kind of problem Index was facing. But Chitose didn't know about the matter at all, so Touma was now letting Index tell what kind of problem she had to the point she had to run away from Stiyl and Kaori. Touma of course pretended to pay attention, so that Index and Chitose wouldn't suspect him.

"Y-you are the grandson of Hiko Seijuro who was said to have defeated Kaori who is a Saint so easily!" Index said with a gaping mouth. "T-that's right, n-no wonder th-that you can beat Kaori and Stiyl."

"You could say that, because with all the Grimoire stored in your head, becoming a magic god is very possible," Chitose said. "Necessarius doesn't want you to be a threat to them that's why your memories are regularly erased and there's even a possibility that there's some kind of seal placed on your body that needs to be maintained once a year so you can't betray Necessarius and make you unable to use it.magic.

Most likely the ritual to erase your memories is actually a ritual to ensure that the seal placed on you remains strong."

"The magic seal on my body that makes my body unable to use magic and keeps my memories erased!?" Index said in shock. "If the seal really exists on my body, there's no way I can remove it.
