Chapter 6 "Heart beat fast"

"Just pack your things and go to another room.. this room is mine from now on.." Noah said as he sat on my bed looking at me with an indifferent expression on his face..

Guess the day wouldn't be any worse.. I scoffed "Huff.. Can't you just make do with the other room just for today? My stomach hurts and I can't do all this right now.. " I said as I tried to make him understand..

He looked at me, then looked at my stomach.. "Are you on your periods? Is that why your stomach hurts?"

I looked at him dumbfounded, not knowing what to say.. "I-I guess you know about these things too! Who taught you about all this? Shouldn't you just play around and go to school at this age? You know way too much for your age.. don't know whether it's a good thing or bad.." I said awkwardly..

My voice was now a little weak from all the pain that I was feeling.. it was getting hard to keep standing anymore, so, I just walked to my bed and sat beside Noah..

He turned his head towards me and said "I read somewhere that it's good to drink ginger and brown sugar soup during these times, to keep your body warm.. Although I don't know how to make that but I can ask someone to come and make it.. what do you say?"

I looked at him, my heart softening a bit at what he said.. I finally let out a smile and said.. "That'd be a great help.. but don't you think, you know too much.. haha.. I feel like I am the one who is young here and you are older.."

He looked at me for two seconds, then He turned his head to look at his phone and made a call "Come here.." He just said these two words and ended the call..

I was truly shocked by the maturity Noah had gained so early in his life.. It had only been a few hours of me knowing him for the first time, and here I was thinking how mature and sensible he was..

It made me more and more curious about Noah.. How'd he know all that? Why's he so mature compared to other kids his age? Who taught him all this? Why's there a need to learn all this so soon?

I wanted to know all about him.. I wanted to ask him all those questions that were in my mind..

I snapped out of my train of thoughts only when I heard him say "Hey.. I'm talking to you.. back to earth.. Noona"

He was waving his hand in front of my eyes.. I turned to look at him.. he was really good looking.. but too bad he was still young and I was older than him…

I let out a sigh "huh.. yeah.. what is it?"

"I was saying that I gave it some thought and realized that it's better to let someone else be the one to do the cooking.. " He said while holding his chin between his fingers, as if he was thinking about something really important..

I chuckled at the sight "oh.. and why do you think so?" I wanted to know what was going on in his mind..

He turned his face in my direction and said with his innocent looking face "You see.. because I don't want to die so young.. you don't know how to cook and it'll only make me a Guinea Pig for you.. and I don't want that.. so I'll just call my personal chef over here to make me some human like food.."

He nodded his head in satisfaction and stood up from the bed.. just as he was about to leave the room I spoke hastily "Noah.. Thank you.. for being so understanding.."

Noah stopped in his tracks, then turned around and said with a smirk "I'm doing this for myself.. there's no need to thank me.. you should just start calling me oppa already, Da-eun noona.. Because I think I'll be the one taking care of you.. not the other way around"

I felt my face burning hot.. my heart felt like it was beating faster than normal.. I just kept looking at him like a fool, even after he left the room, I kept looking in his direction..

I put my right hand on my heart and spoke slowly "Calm down, you stupid heart.. what happened to you today? It'd never happened before.. so why now all of a sudden?"

I sat there thinking about it for God knows how long.. I only came to me senses when I felt my stomach and back hurting like hell..

I lay down, giving my body the much needed rest.. I pick up my phone that was sitting on my left side and started to write something on the people's queries bar.. "What does it mean, if your heart starts to beat faster all of sudden?"

I wait for two minutes then refresh the page to see if there were any replies to my question..

Sure enough, there were a few replies at my post..

I read it and mumbled to myself "I don't think I have a heart disease at such a young age.. also this is the first time I felt like that.. so this option is crossed out"

I read the reply the #deamoness gave me and felt a shiver run through my body.. "what is this person talking about?.. sorry dear, but I don't have that kind of need.. so, you are also crossed out.. now next.."

After reading what the #nerdyboy wrote I felt my heart beat faster once again.. "Like him? Attracted to him? It's true that he's getting someone to make soup for me.. and earlier he helped me with me scalded feet.."

"Does that mean I am attracted to him!!"

My eyes widened with shock..
