Chapter 1: Summoning an Overpowered Hero

The hundred years old Goddess of Healing Listarte is currently having a dilemma. She was assigned to save an S-rank difficulty world from the hands of the Demon Lord. And she only has experience of saving five worlds that were nowhere near the difficulty of her current mission.

Looking at the information of two individuals, she can't help but feel dismayed. If the word she was assigned to save was a D-rank difficulty, then any of the two individuals she had chosen would be fine. But for an S-rank difficulty, they would not even last a second in front of the Demon Lord's General.

Thinking of this, Listarte started to feel that the two individuals she had chosen may not be suitable for this world's difficulty.

[I must have overlooked something.]

Listarte looked at the amount of files on her desk and suddenly felt dizzy just by thinking of reviewing through all of these once again. She abruptly fell down causing the piled papers to collapse right into her head.

[Ahhhhhhhhhhhh…..]

She let out a scream that was unworthy of a goddess, but that helped in releasing some of her pent up stress. She immediately shake off all of the documents covering the top of her head. But there was one paper that she cannot shake off no matter how hard she tried.

[What on earth is this!?]

Listarte got frustrated and she took the paper off her head. But when she looked at the information written on the paper, she was dumbfounded on what she saw.

Personality – Unbelievably Cautious

When she saw the information written on the paper, Listarte did not get excited immediately. She first rubbed her eyes a few times and look at the paper several times, she even pinched herself numerous times before she broke out into cheers.

[Yahoo! I hit the jackpot! This person has stats that could even defeat a Demon Lord from a C-class difficulty world. With him, I will surely succeed in saving Geabrande!]

Listarte immediately left and went to the summoning room without hesitation. Perhaps she did not see what was written on the person's personality or just that she did not care.

After arriving at the summoning room, Listarte did not hesitate and began drawing an enchanted chart on the ground. When she was finished, she began to chant:

[In the name of goddess Listarte, I summon a hero here and now.]

Light emitted from the enchanted chart she had drawn on the ground. It then began to produce a strong gust of wind that had seemingly come out of nowhere.

[Come. Ryuuguuin Seiya!]

It was important to call out the name of the hero she wants to summon for it to be successful and without fail. As she had already done this five times, she was already quite experienced in summoning.

Light overflowed from the enchanted chart, sparks of lightning started appearing and before she even knew it, the light in the summoning room was out. Though it was supposed to be dark already, in the middle of the summoning room, there was a young man that had appeared kneeling on one knee.

Around the young man, there was a translucent blue light surrounding him, but it started to gradually fade over time.

(Oh, wow, he's hot!)

Listarte thought, even though she knew that it is forbidden for a goddess to have a love affair with a human. When she realized this, she immediately shakes her head trying to shake off these thoughts out of her head.

It was admirable that such a man caused a goddess to forget about her duties.

But the young man had no care what the person in front of him was thinking. He is currently feeling very dizzy that forced him to hold his head with both hands.

[W-Wait… Are you okay?]

Listarte asked as she noticed that the hero she had summoned was holding his head with both hands. This was the first time that she had encountered this kind of situation since the other five heroes she had summoned before did not encounter this kind of problem.

She did not receive an answer which made her extremely nervous. Listarte decided to cast a soothing spell on the young hero but was surprised that it bounces off.

[Eh?]

Listarte failed to comprehend what happened and before she even knew it, the young man, Ryuuguuin Seiya, had fainted.
