1 Chapter I
A calming Day
Deciding to skip school to focus on my end of the year assignment. My fingers danced on my keyboard with frightening speed. Snuggled up against my teddy bears, the sun covered in clouds, rain fell and thunder shook my small Apartment. Pushing up my glasses, I look at my phone to see the big bold white letters 4:35pm. Classes starting to end and my roommates where heading their way to me. Deciding to take a shower before they do, I strip my clothes and hop into the shower. Letting the hot water warm me up on this cold raining afternoon. A loud bang startled me, turning off the water to see if it was my roommates or loud neighbors.
I grab my towel and walk out my bathroom door.
"Jasmine? Joshua?" I announced. A sense of danger wash over me and I reach for my phone when I feel something hit my throat. Screaming, the stranger covers my mouth, and a burning slashes across my throat. Gurgling, I clutch my throat as I stare at my murderer. Dread grabbed me by my throat as I sunk into darkness, my friends, family, everything I know of is gone.

Rubbing my eyes, I crawl out of bed completely disoriented. That dream was so realistic, that I could almost feel the slice. Touching my throat, a bandage is on it and I frown. Something just struct me, where am I? Rushing to the grand mirror, I stood in front of the mirror in someone else's body.
"My lady! You scared me! I thought you wouldn't wake up."
The maid, Bina grabbed at the silk black nightgown crying her eyes out. Confused, I just stood there, not knowing what to do I just let her guide me back to the bed. She brushed my hair black hair, and cleaned my wounds. Whatever body I'm in must of been in an accident. As she lay me back in the bed, she hand me an obsidian sword.
"What's this for?" I asked frowning
"You're concubines are coming in, they still upset that you punished Ary for having sex with Ossaya." Bina said rubbing scents on my arms and legs.
"Excuse me? Whats? Who? Whats my name? I don't understand why this is happening." I said panicking. Pushing the maid away I grab the sword and curl in the corner. I couldn't shake the sense of danger. Something about this place, about me, didn't feel right. Fighting back tears I wanted to go home. The woman I saw isn't me, this woman is beautiful. With long navy black hair, beautiful butterscotch eyes, it contrasted against her Chocolate colored skin. Her lips full and inviting, she has a body that women my age would dream of.
"My lady? What's wrong?" Bina said trying to get close, her eyes filled with worry as she rush out the room.
What's happening? Where am I? Racking my brain I couldn't think of anything. If I died that means I reincarnated, but why did I reincarnate in a body that's already alive? Did the person in this body die? Why? Who killed them? I'm in a situation where I could honestly die again. The pain, the suffering, I can't relive that again! No matter how hard I try the body wouldn't cry.
"Duchess? Duchess Aryla? Are you okay?"
A elderly man rushes towards me, his hands hesitate he checks my face and pulse. Before looking at Bina, "Call her father, it seems that she's suffering from amnesia." The man said sighing.
"W-what about her husband and her concubines." Bina asked.
"It's best to cancel the night, it'll be dangerous for her if she can't even remember how to fight back." The man said standing up.
Bina wrapping me in a soft blanket, I fell asleep in the corner. ming, the stranger covers my mouth, and a burning sensation slashes across my throat.
