Greetings ladies and gentlemen, I bring you news from Ellisburg.
For those that don't know me, I am the Marvelous FarSight, Post Cog at your service. Country ranged clairvoyant, limited to only seeing the past, alongside an additional power to imprint my memories onto a piece of paper. Now, on to the news.
For context, as some may have heard, a cape named Nilbog tried to take over with his bio tinker (?) creations. PRT got called, and Nilbog stood his ground. At least until Goliath appeared. Not much details besides Nilbog got shat on.

Yeah, a face only a mother could love.
After that, there was basically no action from the big guy. He just stood there.
That was until yesterday, when the Nine attacked Ellisburg. Why? No idea, there are barely any civilians here anyway.
Long story short? They got bodied.

I was stationed at Ellisburg, so I can say that while there were injuries, there are no casualties.
Was still a shit show nonetheless

@GoodShipMorpheus I just heard from my wife. It hasn't been announced yet, but Protectorate has managed to capture Nyx and Jack without incident! Although they were nearly dead when captured.

Emily sighed as she closed her laptop.
She couldn't get a break, could she?
When she was told that she was being stationed back at Ellisburg, she was hopeful.
Sure, she'll be right beside Goliath, but the thing hasn't moved at all since its conversation with Eidolon and Alexandria. Before that, it hadn't even moved for over a week.
So she was hoping that this was going to be an easy job. She thought all she was going to do, was sit in her office and probably read a magazine or something. She could live with that, she has had enough excitement from Nilbog.
But no, of course, the moment she arrives here, Goliath starts moving. The plants around him start growing at visible speeds.
If that was all, it was still acceptable, but instead the plants started being changed.
She saw a few of those plants grow and intertwine with one another as the earth broke apart and formed into a giant house.
A few PRT officers decided to test their luck and take a quick scan of these houses. Results show that it was all tinkertech. Not just any tinkertech, but what seems to be a specialty, focusing on 'environmental friendliness' of all things.
As if people didn't need more reason to treat him as the new parahuman Jesus.
That was all the plants were doing, but the rest was mostly cosmetic. Trees are being formed, giving sidewalks some shade. Plants being made, giving wonderful aromas. Some of the officers even said that they looked like heaven.
Emily hated it.
Don't get her wrong; the fact that a good portion of it seemed to be biotinkering did press a few wrong buttons, but that wasn't the real problem. The real problem was that she was going to have to write a report about this. Just when she was preparing to relax.
But fine, she could still accept that. She swallowed down her pride and began working.
Just as she was halfway there, the nine appeared. How did she know? Her computer screen exploded in her face. The worst part? She was pretty sure the report she wrote was lost.
Emily was sure that if she could have triggered she would have done so right now.
She didn't even get to mobilise a squad before Hatchet Face and Chuckles appeared side-by-side in the PRT building.
Soon both Jack and the Siberian appeared, and most of the stationed Capes were down.
Then she got front-row seats to the absolute massacre that happened afterwards, and for once, the Nine were on the opposite end.
Shatterbird and Crawler were disintegrated, turned to dust, reduced to atoms. She saw them silently scream as they broke apart. Terrifying shit.
Jack fell, bleeding from every goddamn hole in his body and having a seizure.
Siberian just popped; she had no idea what happened there.
Winter, Crimson, Chuckles, and Hatchet Face were torn apart by the Red Knights.
And don't get her started on them.
She picked up the file about them.

As if she didn't need more of a damn reason to worry.
Where was her relaxation? What god did sh*t piss off?
