I went learning today
Across the other end of the dell lay the forest; that intimidating expanse of trees, dense in their arrangement, as if determined to let sunlight sully its labyrinth of a floor with but a few rays. It was old; one was tempted to call it primeval. The wisdom of yore sang of the surreal powers of the trees, of the salutary nectar that flowed down their boles in the summers. Doubtless, much truth was concealed in these verses of masterful hyperbole, but there was indeed a power exuded by the forest which the most discerning creatures alone could feel.
'The amount of Ethernano in this place is more abundant than Magnolia's.' I thought. The expanse of trees ahead was never-ending. The canopies provided a slight glimpse into the overcast weather, which turned the shades of greenery even darker. Unnecessary crisscrossed pathways with crickets chirping in broad daylight - it was a sight to behold, also sightings of insects and the animals.
'Now that I think about it, I can use <Sorcery> with Ethernano, but I can't use my other magic. Why is that?' Elzar wondered. He found <Sorcery> in an ancient civilization. It was the only thing there that was fully intact. The others didn't survive the passage of time. They were all gone to ashes.
After Elzar joined the guild, he completed the first objective of his first quest. But he didn't retrieve it from his inventory because of the people around him. Instead, he decided to open it in the morning after he's up.
-Flashback-
"Auntie! Can I explore this place? It's so beautiful outside!" Elzar asked Porlyusica.
"You can, but don't get too far." Porlyusica smiled gently.
"Okay!" Elzar said while he opened the door and explored the place.
After leaving the house, Elzar took out the phone from his inventory and looked at the notifications.

"Yes." Said Elzar while feeling something gathering inside his body.
[Reward has been given. Please enjoy your travels!] Said Vee while the phone turned off.
-Flashback End-
The rising sun cast a rosy hue across the morning sky. Golden fingers of sunlight lit up the lit-up blue skies of Earthland. Sunlight shone through the trees, creating mysterious shadows. The blue sky was dotted with fluffy white clouds that drifted lazily in the gentle breeze.
A figure can be seen swinging his small feet back and forth on a tree beside a river. Of course, this was Elzar. The river was beautiful. It is comparable to the river back in his home. A turquoise-blue stream wound its merry way through the forest. The freshwater passed over the limestone rocks in its way, flowing ever so gently. Pebbles whisked about in the under wash like pieces of glitter. Chords of soft light speared down from above, bathing its surface in gold. It was glinting with little sparkles, like a thousand diamonds blessed with blazing fire.
'I should go back now. I have to learn that healing magic so I can add it to my <Sorcery>.' Said Elzar while saying goodbye to the fishes that gathered around him.
*knock knock*
"Auntie, I'm back!" Elzar knocked and opened the door.
"Welcome back. Did you enjoy your little stroll?" Porlyusica asked while setting up the table to eat breakfast.
"Un! I went to a river and played with the fish there!" Elzar replied.
"It seems you had your fun. Let's have breakfast, then I'll teach you healing magic." Porlyusica said while inviting Elzar to eat.
"Okay!" He took a seat beside Porlyusica and waited patiently for her. After that, the duo had a very peaceful breakfast.

"Healing Magic is a Lost Magic. Only a handful of people knows it. Though it may be a lost magic, it is easy to use. The only downside is the massive amount of Ethernano required to cast it." Said Porlyusica and continued:
"Now why would it be a Lost Magic since it is not technically lost? Well, the answer to that is simple. People have talent, and talent has something called affinity. Affinity measures how much you can manipulate an element. For example, you have an affinity for fire. So you can practice fire magic, but you can't get proficient in practicing ice magic or other magics because you only have an affinity for fire.
Now here comes Healing Magic. Healing Magic is a magic with an affinity for life. Only those who are the kindest and the greatest of people can have an affinity of life because they signify the peak which all lives strive for. But there are some who possess the life affinity without being kind or great. They just possess it like it is part of their whole being. They are called Naturals." Explained Porlyusica while waiting for Elzar to digest the information.
<Healing Magic>:
-Healing Magic involves the user using their Magic Power to heal, replenish, or revitalize. The healing can range from small to large wounds, increased stamina to lessen fatigue for the ability to move about, and/or the removal of various maladies of the targeted.
A few minutes later, Porlyusica continued:
"There are many kinds of Naturals, not only in magic but also in intellect and more. I can also be considered as a Natural. As for why I'm telling you this is because you are most likely one as well. How did I know? You might ask. Well, that's for another time to tell." Porlyusica said while preparing something to show Elzar a demonstration.
'Damn, I knew this woman is not normal when I met her.'
'Do you know who she is System?' Elzar asked
[Yes. From what I have observed, according to her Ethernano signature, she is most likely a dragon. Only a counterpart though.] Replied The System
'Ho? A dragon?'
[Indeed. She should be her Edolas counterpart, The Sky Dragon Grandeeney.] The System replied.
(Author: I'm sorry for not uploading any chapters yesterday. I had classes, and it was my sister's birthday. This chapter is probably fucked tho. After I wrote this chapter, I swear I saw a lot of mistakes here and there. This is probably the worst chapter but worry not, I still did my best.)
