This is an interesting fight

'It's finally time, to fight, hahaha, this will be fun, sadly my level keeps on raising because solluna keeps on killing strong monsters, and my level keeps going up, this will be a boring fight if it's dragged out too long' Shin thought, trying to think of how long the fight should last in order for it to still be fun by the end, however his face stayed calm making his enemy misunderstand

'his face, it's calm, almost like she's predicting the whole fight in his mind, but for that he'd need to know both me and his own abilities, does that mean he lied and tricked me? I need to find out, as be careful, he'll be a dangerous opponent if he could trick me this much' Ember thought

However, watching the current events the captain realised what was happening, he'd been in this situation before too, Ember was over analysis their opponent, with the thought that they are a genius, as she's faced many geniuses before and automatically is analysing him like all her other opponents 'i need to train her to not always do that or she will put unnecessary worry I'm her heart, for that worry may lead to a downfall' however she's still about to fight, so the captain didn't interfere and fix her mistake, but decided to let her find out about it through this fight

'hehehe, hopefully she's the princess of her country, so she must be strong enough to fight me on equal terms, unless I level up too quickly, hopefully this will be a fun fight' shin thought while closing his eyes for a second then opening them to reveal two magic circles that kept changing continuously

'those eyes, he must be a very powerful mage if he can use that, however something feels different, his the magic circles and blue, they are white and black each, that's only possible if you have perfect control over two opposite elements, if there was one that wasn't neutral, it would be too  powerful and destroy his eyes, and the same thing would happen if one was more powerful than the other, who are you Shin?' she thought, ready to lung forward at him at any time, but knew she had to be careful

The two looked at each other, analysing the other, seeing for any chance to attack, but after a while Shin grew bored and ran to Ember to attack

Ember was surprised from what he was doing, he was a mage, and mage's normally have weak bodies, making them easy targets one you get so one running up to her to get close was unexpected, and also brave, making her respect Shin slightly, and decide to take it slightly more seriously

Shin reached her and punched the ground, surprising her and the guards, and using his strong mana control, which got stronger after he levelled up while training it on his way to the town, to make a pillar from the arena to hit Ember, was surprised as Shin would need a lot of mana to do that, as he's not creating a pillar from magic, he's contouring the environment around him but doing that also uses an immense amount of mana, someone low level continuously gaining exp which will make them level up which brings mana back to maxl someone very skilled in controlling mana, out just someone who had lots of mana could do that without worries, anyone else would find it extremely difficult to do

Knowing the pillar was gonna hit her Ember dodged it, only to see pure glowing orbs of mana flying towards her, she tried to block them with her sword and succeeded in deflecting most of them, however she noticed something about them, whenever she took damage she barely felt anything, she realized then, Shin's magic attack was weak, although it dealt damage, it was a small amount

'why are good attacks so weak, if it that he's sacrificing his power for numbers of attacks, or is he trying to trick me, or is it that the power he can output is low, Shin, what are you planning' Ember thought, but decided to take the risk and run to Shin and sent him a downward slash with the sword she carried on her back

Shin seeing that, surrounded himself with a mana shield but it was easily being cut by the sword however it was regenerating faster than the sword could cut it putting them at a stalemate, with Ember at the advantage

Shin was about to attack but before he could, a loud screech was heard, distracting both of them, however that was all that was needed for Shins shield to shatter, and with the amount of force Ember was putting it was easy for her to almost cut Shin, Shin created a  small step to jump against but was slightly hit, his cheek showing a faint white and black light beer healing, Ember missed it, but the captain, he's got a very keen eye, and saw it 

'what was that?' the captain thought, curious about the light 'no, that's not what I should question, what is he? He doesn't seem any different than a normal human, but it seems like he's not made out of flesh, almost like, he's energy being held by an outer shell' the captain thought 'but that's impossible, if he was energy, that means that he's two types of energy that balance each other, but for that to occur, it would need him to be formed from two opposite energy sources that are right next to each other, but only wind and earth are possible for that, and he's not made of those, those two are green and azure, then he must be something other than energy, but what?' 

While the Captain was thinking that Shin and Ember where still fighting, Shin created a giant spear and condensed it, to the point where it was normal sized, and kept adding more mana and consensus it further

Ember kept trying to Slash at Shin, trying to defeat him, she wanted him to lose with honour instead of a fluke, and she wanted to fully concentrate on the fight, and knew the only was was to not get distracted by another noise, and instead fight him head on so all her focus is in the fight

The battle was intense, none of the two backed down, and Shin the the spear while condensing it into the spear tip, knowing it was too dangerous Ember dodged to her left however Shin controlled the spear to chase her, waking his hand to where he wanted it to go, Ember dodged it, but as time went on she grew tired, and soon, she was almost got by the spear tip, however she tripped on something, a wooden step, making her fall and the spear to fly above her

Shin was shocked by her luck, and Ember, seeing the opportunity, got up and tried to run up to him and hit him, trying on the the same wooden step, she fell once again, however, it was different then last time

She looked down and blushed, realising that she was on top of shin "s-sorry" she said to Shin while stuttering, her mind a mess making her forget to get off him, however, when she snapped out of it, she heard the door open and a familiar voice to her was heard

"Who's cooking because it's getting hot in here" the unknown voice said and laughed "we were going to have beef too I presume"
