After an hour of flight, they reached their destination, near the city of Roya, although Shin has seen greater, he admitted that this place was definitely bigger than the other things he's seen, as for Shiro, he had a stoic face, even though he was comfortable around Shin there where other people around, so he acted like he did when he first met Shin

Shin put the ring back on his finger, hiding his draconic features once again, and walked to the city, Shiro following behind, they went through the standard procedures to enter the city which were more strict than normal

Once inside they explored, the place was much larger, with many more race's in it, such as elves, dragonoids, centaurs, and many others even some me intelligent monsters where living normally

"What kind of place is this?" Shiro asked Shin, questions how this bustling city could exist. Shin took a book out a book from his inventory (which he learned he could put into different categories for different things, or put one thing in different categories) and read it 

"The city of Roya, it's the one place in a neutral area that there are no wars between countries, it's also where the nobles go when they aren't in their individual kingdoms, created 500 years ago by the king of the dragons, the strongest physically at the time, phoenixes, the ones who had the strongest magic, and humans, who were far more technologically advanced and talented, together the three made separate portals between them in the middle of the already, and seeing the opportunity to have somewhat temporary peace, and the fact that if the three worked together everyone would die" Shin told his son

But there was a question Shiro wanted to ask "But why are monsters here?, normally people would kill them, it's weird seeing them blend so well with these people, but it does seem strangely relaxing"

"A few years after the alliance, most species decided to join this weird alliance in the royal city which is where the largest amount of royalty have gathered without a reason for conflict, and one day the king of dragon's proposed for the monsters to join their alliance, most people discouraged it, however, and I quote, well fuck you all, also I may have accidentally gotten drunk, fly to a monster infected area, and meet the boss monster of a species called Gorgons, who didn't know about the alliance but got close with him anyways to be able to eat him and whatever members of his clan was, then she found out that it's actually real and decided to try explore, when she entered news was already spread about her becoming part of the alliance and she was let in without problems, and to Madusa's surprise, she didn't turn everyone she looked at into stone, showing the power of the protection magic the phoenixes created using the king's own blood, then when she left, Madusa spread the news to other intelligent creatures, and through curiosity a lot of monsters found a safe haven through this city, although some tried to attack and instantly exploded, making the others scared" Shin closed the book and looked at Shin to see if he understood, but saw the confused look on his face

"Three people made a free city, forced others to join, then a drunk man makes a monster friend and invites them to a safe space, but if it's attacked the attacker goes boom" Shin told him, in a way anyone could understand

Shiro nodded, but felt slightly insulted, but quickly got over it as he explored the city, Shin watching silently behind him, smiling, he looked like he was gonna kidnap Shiro, which got the attention of someone wearing fancy clothes

"Hey you, what are you planning to do to the kid" the blond haired man, with short hair said to Shin with a voice that sounded disgusted. Shin heard it and looked around, thinking it was to someone else, but realising the man was looking straight at him, he turned around to face him, then pointed a finger at himself, saying with a monotone voice "me?"

The blond's disgusted face held a sense of righteousness, as if he was an advocate of justice, but Shin was just confused, asking "what do you mean?" The blond thought he was trying to deny what he thought he was doing,  he told him"you were looking at that kid wi-" but was interrupted by Shiro who said "he's my dad"

The blond was surprised and bowed immediately in apology, saying "I'm sorry sir, I didn't know he was your son, you were just looking at him and smiling so I a-" but shin cut him off with "it's fine, in fact I'm glad you did, now I don't have to worry about someone trying to hurt him in public"

Some females were staring at the blond, saying "oh my god, it's the Ehren heir, Eran" and "he's so amazing, he cares about everyone, and knows where he's in the wrong and apologizes" or "wow, he's such a gentleman"

Shin told him it was fine but the man kept apologizing, this kept going on for a long time, and more fangirls , and fanboys, came

Shin just decided it was time to leave as he felt this would be annoying in the future "you can stand up straight again" and left, following wherever Shiro's scent led him to

Earlier, when Shiro left, he entered an alleyway, after hearing some noise from it, and saw a naked woman with a strap on pinning a cute girl to a wall, but before the woman could do anything to her she was kicked away by Shin, who stood protectively in front of the girl who seemed to be his age, but he didn't have to worry as guards came there in a few seconds 

The guards analysed the scene fit a few seconds, and quickly apprehended the woman and put clothes on her, thanking Shiro for his assistance

Shiro nodded and they were about to take the girl too, so they could help her, but she wanted to thank Shiro first, and after that, she asked him "who are you?"

Shiro turned back and walked away, wind blew on his hair and his clothes fluttered "I'm Shiro Origin, the shield" and he left

Unknown to anyone, by that time Shin arrived and used magic to create wind, he looked the two children and smiled, he didn't even look like himself, he looked new, and it felt nice to him, not being as apathetic as he was before
