2 Gatcha, Store, and Setting Off

After that horrific dinner last night where my new Captain ate practically a hole cow, bones and all, I payed for a room at the nearest inn for the next 3 nights. It took the rest of my cash, but it beats the run down tree house Luffy tried to have me sleep in. So here I am at the crack of dawn thinking about what to do with this new life of mine.

"Well no point in wasting time." I say out loud. ' I suppose ought to use my gatcha and checkout the shop before I go look around the island. System use my weekly token.'

"Well shit nice. That'll be useful in harder situations." As I look at the rifle in my hands I can't help but remember what little I know about the gun. It's a fully automatic rifle offer referred as the precursor to the modern assault rifle. It has a rate of fire of about 350 rounds per minute. And each box magazine holds 25 6.5x50mmSR Arisaka rounds. And all I know about it was that it was used during the Russian civil war.

'Well at least it wasn't something as overused as a Tommy gun. I'll have to get used to using it before I leave Dawn island. Alright system show me the store.'

'Note to self always buy in bulk if possible. So I would say 3,000 berries is worth about 40 US dollars. So $1 is 75 berries, wow this worlds goods are crazy wired I practically paid for a room for 3 nights with 20 bucks. Even the sunny would have only costed a little more 2.5 million.'

As I had finished going through everything I decided it would be a good to explore around the woods near the town. As well as practice with my 1911 and mess with the Fedorov a bit.

Making up my mind to head outside I clean up at the washing basin in my room and get dressed. When I'm done I finally take look at myself in this new life of mine. Looking at myself I can't help but see that I'm mostly the same as my last lives. Dark brown hair that shines red when hit with light, the same color stubble that I will need to shave when I have the time. My eyes have always been green and here it's no different, but I can clearly see how much sharper they are, like they're glowing with determination. I also noticed I'm quite a bit taller and more filled out then my 5'10 or my last life.

Now standing at about 6'7 I know why I thought Luffy was a kid. I also have broader shoulders then I remember having, if I had to guess a weight it would be about 280 pounds. All in all I look about the same just everything has been toned up. Where as before I would be a 6 now I'm a 7 1/2 or an 8. And with the cloths from the starter I look quite nice, like I'm going to a pub or to church on Wednesday after work.

As I walk out my room in the inn I grab a quick bite to eat (provided by the owner for all residents) and head into the woods. Waving at the people I see on my way. No need to be a dick and pretend there not real, even if I won't ever see them again it's always polite to or at least acknowledge the people around. I'm not going to be one of those hard ass MCs who have no soul and can kill as a 3 year old kid.

Well lucky before I can really get started on that tangent I make my way to a nice clearing a good bit away for the town. Thinking this is as good of a place as any i stet up some targets at different heights and distances from each other. Not just in in front of me either bet to both sides as well. 'System redeem my unlimited ammo token for .45 A.C.P rounds.'

"Ohh neat at least I don't have to do that by hand. That shit can get you killed in a gun fight."

For the next 3 or 4 hours I practiced shooting my pistol, it started of a little rough but slowly I got used to my new size and got into the grove of things. Slowly as the day went on I started going faster and faster and when I could hit all 7 targets in a decent enough time I would move further back.

Once I hit 50 feet with the same accuracy I switched to my rifle. I'm not really practicing with this one, just making sure it's sighted in and ready to go if I need it. And of course I put all of my spent rounds into my ring. Hey that's practically free brass I might need it for something. Don't judge me you would do the same and you know it.

For the next 3 days it was the same routine wake up, get dressed, eat, wave, shoot, talk to random strangers at town or the bar. Meet up and talk with Luffy about random stuff then go to bed and repeat.

And now it's finally time to see if I will die at see with my charismatic idiot of a captain. "This is the boat you want us to go to sea on. It's barely better than a fishing boat."

"Shishishi, of course ace left on a boat the same size so I will as well. Besides we will get a better boat eventually. And a musician and someone who can cook meat. Ohhhh maybe we can find a robot and a dog. We're going to have so much fun." Said Luffy with an excited grin plastered on his face.

"Well as long as we don't die before the next island, I'm sure we'll find all of them. Let's go I'm ready for adventure."

"Shishishi, bye Makino, bye Woodslap, bye everyone just watch me I'll become the King of Pirates."

After Luffy said his goodbyes we said sail. Now neither I nor Luffy now how to navigate so I decided to give it my best collage try, the map Makino gave us says the next island is to the northeast if the port so I set the bout heading in that direction. As I'm fixing the boat's direction the king of the coast makes its appearance.

"Shishishi, this is for Shanks you damn bastard. Gum gum pistol." And me not wanting to be left out pulled out my 1911 and shot it in its left eye.

'Soon I can start making changes, I really don't want to feel like a back seat driver or at the very least like I'm taking someone else's role.' As I think this I can't wait. Soon the world will know my name. Even if I have to carve it in their skin.
