02. A Interview?

The man knocks on the door, and waits. Inside under the blaring music, shuffling of feet move closer then away as if they didn't hear him. Tori, annoyed, knocks on the door again, louder. The slat bursts open, barely missing Tori's face. He steps to the side, and swings his head backward. The door stops only inches from his face. A girl on the other side stands in the doorway. She looks around for the perpetrator who had knocked apon the wooden slat.

"Umm, hello?" The girl yells above the music, looking around for the knocker. Her voice has a vexatious note to it, as if she purposely forced the high pitch tone. Tori reluctantly sticks his head out from behind the door: that would have smacked his face; hadn't he moved just before. With narrowing eyes and a disgruntled look, he stares at her.

Blinking slightly, then forcing her eyes to widen she gasps, as if she is just seeing him for the first time.

"Oh, hello." she says with smiling eyes when she decisively sees him.

He replies with silence, rethinking his motivation for coming to this God forsaken bar.

"Can I help you with something?" She asks with a glint of humor. The girl is wearing a light purple tank top, with a style of bell bottom jeans. With a bandana pulling back long black hair, she straightens up, and watches Tori, pondering.

"Actually, I think I came to the wrong place. Sorry." Tori starts to leave, but the girl grabs his arm, and stops him from moving forward.

He turns his head around, and glares at the girl. "Let go." he says quietly, repulsing at the fact of being held on to.

The woman lets go instantly, the glaze that seeps through his aviators, were that of a wolf; fierce, unforgiving eyes, Void of all emotion, besides hatred. It was only for a moment, but it was enough. She loses her train of thought for a moment, with Adele's voice blasting in the background. After a moment, she regains herself, and straightens up. "OH, you're the new hire?" She smirks, looking at him with a happy expression. The man looks unamused.

"I was, but I've changed my mind." he replies, as he tries to remove his arm from her grip. But she keeps holding on.

"Ya, OK, Mr. Sketchy, it's too late." she exclaims, pulling him into the loud room. "Come on in."

Tori reluctantly follows.

Inside the room was a pool table, with three other teens. They all look at the commotion, and as the girl shuts the door.

"Just a moment, Ima go get the boss." The girl slips by the table, and disappears in a hallway to the left. The other three look at Tori, with the music playing, with confused faces. Tori stares at them.

The farthest one from Tori, was standing behind the pool table. He has blond, long hair; that's pulled back into a man bun. Wearing a Hawaiian shirt, with cargo pants, and flip flops; He is the tallest out of the three teens in the room. He was just about to take a shot at the now forgotten white ball, when he heard the new guy come in.

The oldest teen, who is sitting in a chair, reading a book. He was the older one out of the two, and had reddish brown hair, which was swept to the side. He had a red polo, with black slacks on. Out of the three, in Tori's opinion, he was the most professional.

"Hey, new man." says the last teen. He smiles, and swaggers over to Tori, with his pole over his shoulder. He is wearing a blue shirt, with yellow letters, with disdainful intent.

"If your a Nerd, then your a Turd." seems to be more taunting, then the girls high pitched noise. With his aviators blocking his true feelings about the boy, Tori straightens his back, as he feels repulsed by the kid was talking to him. "My names Michel, but you can call me Mich." He holds out his right hand.

"Tori." He barely mutters.

Foreign to physical socializing, he gives the kid a slight nod. Mich looks at his hand, then at Tori's crossed arms. After deciding it was a lost cause, he shrugs putting his hand down.

"Welp" a akward silence follows for a moment, before recovering. "That blondie right here, is Kenneth." He jesters to the one focusing on the white ball, in the bottom right hand corner.

"Yello," Kenneth replies without looking up.

"And that mopey dope, over there, is Auston." Mich shoots gun hands at the boy sitting on the chair, and makes a face at him. Auston ignored the whole conversation, by reading his book.

"Hey. You know, Mich, there's no need for speaking rude." says Kenneth, while setting up his next move. He pulls his pole back, aims, then shoots, hitting the white ball, knocking it into a group of four in the top left. It hits a green striped ball at the wall and rolls into the top right hand corner. "Damn it." He grumbles, rubs the back of his head.

"HA! That's my point, sucker." Mich points out, distracted from the newcomer. He throws his hands up, shaking his pole in the air like a baboon.

Tori just watches with utter confusion, as the two tease each other. Both boys were arguing over the game, and calling out names.

Auston, who was reading his book, finally looks up to properly look at the newcomer.

The man named Tori is about 6' 4", and has wide shoulders. He is wearing a black tuxedo, with a white dress shirt and a red floral tie. His hair was a dark blue, pulled back into a messy ponytail. On the sides of his head he had lengths of hair, wrapped in cloth that came down to shoulders. He also has gloves on his hands, and a thick cloth necklace around his neck. Tori had black aviator sunglasses on, that covered his eyes. At the bottom of the glasses a red line underneath each eye.

So, this is the kid Mr. Brooks wants to protect, eh. Austin thinks.
