1 I'm to get married

The carriage stopped in front of the Lionheart palace, the door to the carriage swinging open and showcasing Amelia in a dark purple gown. Her midnight purple hair was in a ponytail and her porcelain skin was decorated with gold jewels.

Her designated butler placed his hand out, to which she gently placed her palm on his and stepped down the stairs. A heavy sigh that was stuck in her throat was finally released. "My dear princess, your mother is waiting in the conference room with Prince Noah." Her butler stated calmly. Despite his calm voice, his heart was beating at a rapid pace.

"Thank you Albert. I'll make my way now." She smiled before walking towards the entrance of the palace. After walking for a few minutes she was able to reach the conference, bowing her head a bit towards her parents. She locked eyes with Noah and smiled, to which he returned.

Once she was settled down, her mother looked at her with the same distant eyes she knew since her childhood. Queen Liliana was a tall, voluptuous woman who had ivory skin and long blonde hair that was styled in a bun. Her gown was red and gold and a beautiful crown sat on her head peacefully.

Her father washad passed and due to that, her mother was given the responsibility to rule over Histonia. Noah looked at the now nervous Amelia and offered her a second small smile, to which she then returned.

"I assume you know why you are here child?" Her mother coldly questioned. Her voice was prickly and almost unbearably to listen too. "Yes your highness." She quietly replied. Her voice is velvety and soft. An obvious contrast to her mother's voice.

"You are to get married this weekend to the Prince of Heline. Is there an objection to agreement?" Amelia shook her no. "Use your voice child." "No your highness." "The fairies of Jane will arrive shortly to solidify the contract." With that her mother got up and walked off, leaving the now engaged couple by themselves.

When Liliana was out of sight, Amelia released a breath she didn't know she was holding. A small deep chuckle came from Noah. He ran a hand through his long black hair and smiled. "Your mother is a bit of a cold case." This made Amelia laugh a bit.

"Oh no my prince, she's much worse." To which they both shared a hearty laugh. Maybe the marriage wouldn't be so bad.
