4 Four

I could now be seen sitting in the back of a classroom while students were filling up the room. Mr. Furgeson had taken the responsibility of introducing me to all of my teachers while telling me how everything would be for me in school and after a while we finished.

"Good morning class, before we begin I have an announcement to make." Mrs. Winston, my math teacher said as she successfully got everyone's attention.

"I'm sure most of you noticed we have a new student." Mrs. Winston said causing everyone to shift their bodies toward me.

"Yo." I said as I raised my hand slightly with a smile.

"His name is Keanu Godfrey, everyone be nice and welcome him to our school." Mrs. Winston said before speaking to me directly.

"Do you mind?" She said to me uncertainly as everyone raised an eyebrow in confusion.

People tend to find blindness and things of that nature to be a sensitive topic but it wasn't for me, I was blind, that's all.

"I'm blind." I said before raising my cane up slightly, the teacher seemed a bit uncomfortable with the subject.

My words got some of the people in the classroom talking but nothing bad was said, most of the reactions were like 'Oh, so that's why he's wearing those glasses', which wasn't an odd statement, my glasses were as dark as could be, nobody could see through them with regular eyes.

"As Keanu said he's blind so I hope you'll all be a bit more courteous than usual." Mrs. Winston said before continuing.

"Now for attendance, say here when your name is called." The teacher said before beginning to call out names.

I sat patiently while listening to everything happening in the room as I ignored the extremely sweet scent that continued to overpower every smell in the room until the teacher's words caused me to pause that action.

"Isabella Cullen?" The teacher said as she continued calling the attendance.

'Did I hear that right?' I asked myself, the names Isabella and Cullen weren't supposed to be together yet.

"Here." The voice of Kristen Stewart sounded through the room.

I watched Twilight in my first world enough to know what Bella sounded like and she obviously sounded like her actor, Kristen Stewart.

'Well... that's interesting.' I said inwardly, perhaps there was another Bella in the school, that was feasible but the chance of there being another Cullen wasn't.

After the teacher finished the attendance she began today's lesson which I barely listened to as I thought about the name of the person seated directly beside me. Many thoughts filled my mind as I tried pricing things together but I couldn't get anything out of it.

"Hey." The voice of Bella sounded from beside me, we were seated at the same table in the back of the room.

"Yes?" I replied wondering what the woman wanted.

"Nice to meet you, my name is Bella Cullen." Bella said to me with a smile, a smile that I found odd.

"Nice to meet you Bella, I'm Keanu Godfrey." I replied as a small smile formed on my face, I was always polite when I met someone but it never lasted long, blame Deadpool.

"So about that, are you like THE Keanu Godfrey? Or just Keanu Godfrey?" Bella asked me with curiosity oozing from her very being but it felt fake, almost rehearsed.

You know I may have fallen for Bella's act without Deadpool's inheritance but there was a dead giveaway that something was off about her, her heart, it wasn't beating. My senses were strong so hearing heartbeats wasn't a difficult task for me and Bella's heart hadn't released even one beat since she sat down next to me which could only mean one thing, Bella was a cold one, a vampire.

"What do you mean by THE Keanu Godfrey?" I questioned although I already knew what she meant.

"Y'know, like the musician." Bella replied immediately.

"I see, then yes, I am the Keanu Godfrey." I said to the woman seated beside me.

"I knew it!" Bella said loudly causing everyone to turn their heads toward us.

"Is there a problem Ms. Cullen?" The teacher asked Bella.

"Ah, no, sorry." Bella replied before falling silent while the teacher released a sigh and continued the lesson.

'This Bella doesn't seem as shy and awkward as she was seen in the movies.' I said inwardly as I began to notice that things were not as I thought them to be.

"Could I have your autograph?" Bella whispered to me.

"Maybe later, I don't give autographs out unless my assistant is near." I replied and although it sounded weird it was necessary.

I was blind and that was a well known fact so when I was alone and someone asked me for an autograph they could be attempting to make me sign a paper I have no clue of what the contents are, I could be signing a check for a million dollars and I wouldn't know, so it was better for me to give autographs and things of that nature when I had a helper I trusted nearby.

"Aww, okay." Bella replied before moving on to the next topic of conversation.

"So what brings you to Forks?" Bella asked curiously.

"Nothing much just wanted to relax some with my family." I replied as I leaned back in my chair.

"Ah, I see I see." Bella said as if she was a sage.

Bella and I continued talking for a while but nothing was anything to take note of, she was curious about my music and things of that nature and made sure to never ask anything that crossed a certain line.

"Do you mind if I take a look at your schedule? I'll help you get to your next class if you want." Bella said to me, I suppose we were nearing the end of the class.

"Sure." I replied as I slid the paper that was on top of the table to the right of me.

"Let's see..." Bella said as she picked up the paper.

"Oh, we have next period together and some of your other periods are with my siblings." Bella said as she slid the paper back to where it was originally.

"That so?" I replied wondering how the other Cullens were, I was already rather surprised to be in the situation I was in now so the chance of the other Cullens being different was high.

"Yeah, so-" Bella replied before being interrupted by the teacher who was now standing beside our table.

"You can leave now Keanu and Bella, you have Mr. Luise's class next, right? Could you lead the way for Keanu please?" The teacher said.

"Yeah, that's the plan." Bella replied as she stood up before grabbing her things.

"Great, then I'll leave you two to it." Mrs. Winston said before walking back to her desk.

"Ready?" Bella said after I finished grabbing the small amount of things I had.

"Lead the way eyeballs." I replied with a smile.

"Eyeballs?" Bella said confused before realization hit her.

"Oh, I get it." Bella said before chuckling some.

"Now, mind if I have a shoulder? I've yet to memorize the layout of the room." I said to the woman who may or may not be the main character of Twilight.

In truth, I had already memorized the layout of the room and everywhere I walked earlier with the school counselor, I always made sure to tap my cane so that my echolocation-like ability would allow me to remember my surroundings, the reason I asked for her shoulder was because I wanted to feel if she was cold or not, just another way of confirming she wasn't human.

"Sure." Bella replied as she took my hand and placed it on her shoulder before leading me out of the room while everyone watched us intently, "Woah, the Cullen girl actually spoke to someone and let them touch her." was what I heard from the other students in the class.

'I assume she usually keeps to herself like the other Cullens do.' I thought to myself as I felt Bella's cold shoulder.

Normally it would be difficult to feel the temperature of someone's body through the thick layer of clothes Bella was wearing but I felt it clearly, her ice-cold temperature was easily detectable to me at this distance.

Bella and I began making our way down the hallways while I tapped my cane on the ground repeatedly so as to further memorize the layout of the school, somebody wouldn't always be there to lead me around.

"Here we are." Bella said as we came to a stop.

"Thanks." I replied to Bella as I leaned back on a locker.

"Yeah-" Bella said before the school bell interrupted her.

Immediately after the school bell rang the just empty hallway was filled with around 400 students which isn't a small number but isn't a big one considering this is the only high school in Forks.

"C'mon, let's get inside, the class is empty." Bella said after waiting a few moments before we entered the classroom together.
