A Mission Together

The next morning when William woke up, he didn't see Amanda anywhere, all he found was a piece of paper next to him.

Wake up slacker! It's time to work. You've had too much to drink to forget your duties. Hurry up and get up, I'm waiting for you at the office.

William sighed, his head still hurt so much and he couldn't remember anything after he got so drunk. He couldn't remember what he had done with Amanda last night. His clothes were already neat as before, Amanda tidied up everything before William woke up.

"Hufft... Well, I guess I'd better get back to work. She'll be waiting." he said, getting up from the bed and heading to the bathroom.

William arrived at the headquarters at eleven o'clock in the afternoon, wearing the same black long-sleeved turtle neck that he always wore.

"Good afternoon, Agent W31!"

"Oh, Good afternoon Agent M29!" William greeted them back.

Walking into a room, William walked straight in and there were tons of monitors inside, where he usually worked. In his chair, a woman was waiting for him as she opened every data on his computer.

"He started moving this morning... 50 km to the West, towards Ventic City. That seems to be where their headquarters are," said the woman who realized that William was already there.

"Really? Then are we going there right now?"

"No, we'll wait another two hours for him to move again. In the meantime, we will mark the location of his current destination," she explained and turned the chair she was sitting on to face his partner.

A large tall body was suddenly in front of her, making the woman startled because of William's stomach that was already in front of her face.

"Hey, you're too close!"

"Oh? You're the one who suddenly turned the chair around,"

"That's right. So how's your head, still hurting?"

The man shook his head, he said he had taken some pills before coming to the base. So he was feeling better now, he just asked his partner, Amanda again. Where did she go after William was in that room?

Amanda replied that she went straight home after laying William down in the room.

"I wouldn't have slept there. I have a much more comfortable home," she replied.

"Hmn... Then you leave me? Very good. Now get up because this is my job." Suddenly William lifted Amanda's body in a bridal style pose and sat her on the couch.

The man always lifted Amanda's body suddenly like that, sometimes making Amanda's heart beat very fast. She was happy to be in William's strong hands even if only for a moment.

"You're getting lighter, haven't you eaten this morning?"

"I was in a hurry, so I didn't have time to have breakfast. You know this mission is very important, right?"

"You always do." William said and sat on his chair facing the monitor screen.

Paying attention to William who was focusing, Amanda was reminded of last night when she and William had sex. William's handsome face smiling passionately at her, as if he wanted Amanda so much, made her feel so desirable.

A faint smile appeared on her beautiful face, continuing to stare at William who was busy with his work. Although the night was so short and would never happen again, Amanda would always remember it.

A few minutes later, their target had stopped at a point they suspected to be their base. William informed them that it was a large field with no CCTV or residential areas.

He was able to find out after hacking into the nearest CCTV there. From there he searched the area near the last CCTV that recorded their target car.

"They could have made a transaction there, or there is a base that is deliberately not installed so that no one knows where they are." Amanda concluded.

"It's possible. It's only 40 minutes away from the city center. There must be a lot of guards there."

"No problem, I can handle them." Amanda got up from the sofa and opened the cupboard in the corner of the room.

Inside were their two uniforms, complete with weapons and other equipment.

"We leave tomorrow night and complete this mission immediately."

Later that evening, William and Amanda went to the place to carry out their mission together. Amanda drove William's car, while he was busy with his laptop tracking the whereabouts of the secretive place.

Once they arrived at the nearest area of the place, Amanda stopped their car and got out alone.

"I will monitor you from my laptop, you move according to my directions. I already have the floor plan of this place."

"You have it? Heh, I knew you were a genius. Everything will definitely be revealed by you,"

"You know me clearly. Now do your job,"

the woman nodded and walked towards their enemy's base. As expected, there were already many guards in front of the building. A large building in the middle of a large field with dense trees nearby.

"Alright Amanda, time to do your job."

Amanda walked up to them so casually, but her eyes stared intently at them.

"Who are you?! You can't be here!"

Without saying anything, Amanda beat them up one by one. She kicked the guards, and even hit them in the face. She grabbed the weapons they were holding and smashed them on their heads, knocking them unconscious.

Entering the hallway, there were already a lot of guards who came because they heard the commotion outside. Amanda's blue eyes looked at each guard in front of her, seeing that there were many of them, she pulled two sticks from her back.

The stick was a stun gun ready to electrocute them. The fight resumed, Amanda electrocuted the nape of their necks so that they would quickly fall helpless.

A guard managed to hold Amanda's neck with his weapon from behind. The woman was suddenly suffocated and pulled back. The other guard tried to attack her from the front.

Amanda's foot kicked the man and the stun gun she was holding went straight to the head of the guard who was choking her with the gun.

They were paralyzed instantly making Amanda finally breathe a sigh of relief while rubbing her neck.

"Hufftt that was close," she muttered.

"Something happened? There are three ways in front of you. I want you to take the right one, I believe it leads to the thing we're looking for." William said through the earpiece.

"Understood."

Amanda ran in the direction William said, she beat the guards who were blocking her and kept going to her destination until she came to a room filled with several people in white coats.

They were the scientists who worked there. When Amanda entered, they were terrified to see her holding a gun let alone her getting past the guards. Out of fear, they fled out of the room.

"Heh very good," the woman looked in one direction, a glass tube in which there was another glass tube with a red liquid inside.

"Agent W31, I found it."

"Good job. Take the serum and let's get out of here."

The woman smiled and opened the glass tube door and took the serum inside. As she was about to leave, a large man suddenly confronted her at the exit.

"I won't let you take the serum. I'll kill you!"

Amanda blinked her eyes at the man who looked very serious. A sly smile appeared on the woman's face.

"We'll see who dies here."
