Ch.11: Danger! Enraged Slime King!

'Why is he so protective of those students? He usually never even leaves his office!' Mr Bonzly was both shocked and confused. Killian Zasho, the principal, was never concerned about the students in the academy, only the results they produced so this was something new to Mr Bonzly.

He already knew he wouldn't be able to escape unscathed so he prepared himself for any more sudden attacks.

"Why are you protecting those students! This isn't like you!" Mr Bonzly shouted in anger. His confusion turned into frustration and then into anger in just a few seconds.

Although, his only response was another twig thrown at him with incredible speed.

'Tch. Not talking eh!'

"Elementalist Arts: Summon Golem!" All of a sudden, 2 golems made of the earth appeared next to Mr Bonzly. A slight grin formed on his face as he glared intensely at the principal. His only choice in this fight was to go all out, or he'd die within seconds.

"Physical Enhancement!" The muscles on Mr Bonzly's arms and legs visibly increased in mass. He cackled as a wave of power surged over his body. Without hesitation, he dashed forward in the principal's direction.

Mr Bonzly performed a swift roundhouse kick that contained immense power despite his small frame. Just the air of the kick contained enough power to heavily injure a low-leveled individual.

Killian finally made his appearance as he jumped into the air, meeting Mr Bonzly's kick head-on with his own leg. The clash of the attacks caused the air to ripple and a few trees to be slightly uprooted.

"As I thought, you weren't a normal person." Killian said as he backed away. It was apparent to him now that Mr Bonzly was indeed from a special background, which explained why he lied when applying for the position in the academy.

Just from analyzing his body when he first saw him, Killian realized that although he had such a small frame, the power he held was terrifying.

"When did you figure it out." Mr Bonzly's expression was one of anger and wariness. He wasn't foolish enough to fight Killian head-on with each attack, as that would lead immediately to his defeat.

"Attack!" As he said this, the golems that were previously idle dashed ahead towards Killian. Mr Bonzly expended a 3rd of his total mana to summon these two golems so they each held 1/3rd of his power.

Killian said nothing and met the golems head-on despite the ratio. Taking this opportunity, Mr Bonzly dashed ahead, preparing to perform yet another roundhouse kick. He held nothing back and unleashed a powerful kick that made the wind howl.

Killian immediately dodged the attack despite the golems trying to hold him down. He punched one of the golems square in the chest before jumping lightly into the air and sending a kick right into Mr Bonzly's' stomach.

Mr Bonzly couldn't handle the full force of Killian's kick, thus, he was sent flying for a few meters before sliding against the ground in a pitiful manner. After holding back his vomit, he got up and glared at Killian with an amazing amount of killing intent that could kill a monster by itself.

Killian spared Mr Bonzly a single glance before suddenly vanishing. Mr Bonzly's eyes contracted before he quickly put up his guard.

'Damnit, how is he that fast?!' He asked himself as Killian appeared right before him. Killian unleashed a heavy punch to Mr Bonzly's arms that were crossed in front of him, hoping to block Killian's attack.

'Crack'

Mr Bonzly's heart slightly trembled as he heard a crack coming from one of his arms. A small ounce of fear made its way into his heart.

'Just that single punch almost broke my arm altogether!' He was astonished while also angry. Mr Bonzly counterattacked with a faint kick. Killian expected this and put one of his arms next to his head, expecting for the kick to land, although instead of that happening a punch was delivered to his chest.

Killian coughed a mouthful of spit before immediately retaliating with a punch thrown at Mr Bonzly's face. Since Mr Bonzly was expecting Killian to at least draw some distance, he had no time to react to the sudden attack.

'Damnit, did that not hurt him at all?'

"Attack!" He called for his golems to assist him as he took the brunt of the attack.

'Crack'

He heard another crack and sweat started rolling down his forehead. The golems quickly arrived next to him, ready to defend him or attack him.

...

"Yes! The Slime King is no more!"

"Miss Angeline is amazing!"

"No one can rival Miss Angeline in magic!"

The crowd cheered in happiness as the Slime King lowly melted under the terrifying heat of Miss Angeline's spell.

[The Slime King has become enraged.]

A window appeared in front of everyone, startling them all. Angeline's face scrunched up in anger as she read the message. That last spell she cast took 1/4th of her mana and it had a cooldown.

'What do we do now?' She thought to herself as sweat rolled down her forehead.

The students looked at her in anticipation and excitement, hoping to see the flashy fire spell again.

The Slime King's body stopped decreasing in size, startling the students before it started increasing again.

Liam looked around and noticed that the acid coming from the trees was slowly being sucked up by the Slime King.

"Get rid of the acid and it'll stop growing!" Liam all of a sudden blurted out. The rest of the students looked in confusion at the Slime King absorbing the acid. After a few seconds, multiple students started to cast fire magic for some reason.

"Hahaha! If we attack the Slime King, then we'll get experience when it dies right?" When the other students heard this, many started to cast other types of magic spells, hoping to do a little bit of damage to the Slime King and hopefully gain some experience.

"You fools! Don't do that!" Michael shouted at the students, but they didn't listen to him as they were blinded by the thought of potentially gaining enough experience to skip past 2 entire levels.

The teachers looked back in shock at the students before Yoru angrily roared at them.

"You MAGGOTS! STOP!" Yoru's yelling stopped many students, although, it was too late. The Slime King finished absorbing a decent amount of acid from the trees and ground and silently jumped into the air again.

All of the students immediately became terrified at the sight of the gigantic Slime King leaping into the air again. To make it worse, none of their magic spells had any type of effect on the Slime King.

"B-Bu...Burning Devasta...station!" Miss Angeline shouted as blood leaked from her wrists and the corner of her lip. This was the price of using a skill or spell while it is on cooldown. If one used a skill or spell that had an enormous cost while it was on cooldown, then they could easily kill the person.

Yoru's face turned grim before shouting again. "Why did you do that!" Yoru was extremely angry.

He looked back at the dumbfounded students and roared.

"When the spell hits the Slime King and it falls down, you COCKROACHES BETTER CAST YOUR STRONGEST SKILLS AND THEY BETTER CAUSE THE SLIME KING DAMAGE!"

Yoru's speech caused shivers to run down the students' spines as they immediately began casting their strongest skills and spells. Their lives were most definitely on the line due to their own foolishness!
