Ah, the mystery! Wonder what really happened back then-what really caused the war and what happened between the two great emperors? Given the statuses of those who seem to know and are in on the secret or plan or whatever it's called, I feel like there's an even deeper plot involved than what we're being led to believe

Now were cooking!! Still the princess regardless is on the MCs side. It should be a given that she would come to the same conclusion. The why still support the MC? Clearly she knows more then she lets on or until evidence is shown its no use questiong the MC. Regardless the MC should be safe for now
