When you realize that the original author wrote hundreds of chapters for free and even had to take a break from the novel in favour of an actual job, I don't mind the premium as long as it's nor just going into Qidians pockets, but the authors as well. Authors need to survive too and considering this story is high quality enough that I would buy a physical copy, I say spirit stones well spent for once. Especially since this story isn't just a hasty jumbled up mess of tropes and cliches, but an honest to god fleshed out novel. My only wish is to keep the consistent updates and get some binus chapters here and there đ
So if things follow the usual pattern, this merchant guy will probably try to kill Thales, for some reason that makes him not seem like a complete asshat, but still kinda unlikeable. We will then get a short mention of the power that is slowly growing within Thales, which will probably not be that useful until about 13-14 more deaths. Also, is constellation the country with the most cursed bodyguards ever? The best they could do was a guy known for lying and deceit, and an elf that is essentially an overpowered version of Dorry from Nemo. Just one bodyguard that uses a shield, or anything actually useful for protecting would be nice,
