mm while i want to pat author-san on the back for the last line, it kinda shows weakness. only an arc or two into the story and they're already making excuses for their work comparing it to other stories. if they had faith in their own writing this wouldnt be necessary. it should be obvious that this work isnt like "other novels" and that's a standalone concept. points deducted for insecurity. man up, push forward.
