i usually don't mind if there is no male lead. but Shu's been living for a long time. like literally, a long time. like a reverse uno card done by the author where instead of an old male lead, it's an old female lead who never dies nor ages, and people who have... oh i can't go there (but u've seen this in the previous arcs. like literally some of the endings of the arc were literal Ming Shu life before meeting Harmony System). but she's been so alone, little beastie wasn't there before nor Qi Yu. and what the 🤬🤬🤬🤬 heavens???! (a partial reaction u'll have at the end) like, she wasn't the only one who did that!!!!!!!!!!!! 🤬🤬🤬 so how come!!!! ughhh
