Sure it's immediate money sitting right there in your hand, but isn't it weird to sell your merchandise to a rival instead of putting them up for sale in your own shop? It won't be immediate money because you'll have to wait for an informed and wealthy customer to stumble across it but once you build a reputation for being able to sell quality fish you can skip the middleman (Who's also a competitor) and make your own shop profitable and successful. What he did in this chapter is almost a downgrade in the professional ladder, joining the ranks of people sell fish individually to fish stores instead of being the fish store owner themself.

The MC would be getting cheated by that shop owner if he didn't remold those fish.

its all about the money, mc got a cheat that will let him jump into the river and then ocean to get stronger and become The Kraken, seamen would worship him and say release the kraken, or release mc ! but no he's doing what all the thai fish farmers are doing to modify their fish and making more money. i mean cut the tail off parrot fish or dipping black widows into acid to remove the protective mucus and then into a color solution to dye the fish. all for more money but slower than mc cheat system.
