I don’t know all people in the world but I am sure, no matter who, will feel some kind of resentment if they get betrayed. And how calmly MC act, that is bullsh*t. I mean, if author want to write a realistic novel, then do it till the END. Don’t just write a part realistic and a part bullsh*t.

Can't you reduce the usage of word"then". Every line contains two to three "then" in it.

Hmm point that I had running in the back of my head but didn't voice before, how did two completely unrelated individuals get poisoned by the same substance? Especially with the disparity in status, it doesn't look like they'd be poisoned from the same source, perhaps the system awakening also changed more than just his herb garden/hill, perhaps other foreign substances also appeared in other parts of the world.
