1 Chapter one:

Li Tao woke up feeling groggy in a rundown earthen house, the stench of dirt and decay overwhelming her senses. As she came to her senses, she realized, to her horror, the source of the smell was her own body. "What the..? Did I transmigrate?" she thought, her mind reeling from the sudden shift in reality that seemed straight out of the web novels she used to read.

As she tried to stand up, a wave of dizziness hit her, memories that weren't her own flooding her mind. She was married, had been for five years, to a man named Lu Zhao who was currently away on a military mission. She was a mother to two children, a girl, Lu Jiao, and a boy, Lu Chen. She saw them outside, playing in the mud, looking like little earth sprites.

Rolling up her sleeves, Li Tao decided to tackle the immediate problem at hand - the dirty house. As she moved to start cleaning, her foot hit something hard. It was a jade pendant, identical to the one her grandmother in the modern world had given her. In her surprise, she stumbled, cutting her leg on a sharp edge of the pendant. A few drops of blood fell on the jade, causing it to glow a soft green.

Suddenly, she was standing in a vast piece of fertile land with a modern supermarket right in front of her. Excitement bubbled within her as she explored the supermarket, treating herself to some chocolates. She was overjoyed by the discovery of this magical space, her own little slice of the modern world in the 90s.

Despite her circumstances, Li Tao felt a sense of gratitude. She had always desired children but had never found a man worthy of her. In her previous life, she was a successful single woman with a considerable inheritance from her grandmother. She was what society termed as a 'leftover woman', but she was content. Now, she had the one thing she always wanted - children. She resolved to accept this new life with open arms. As for her husband, she decided that if he didn't live up to her standards, divorce was always an option. This was her life now, and she would live it on her terms.
