Tara Summer remained silent, tugged at the corner of her mouth, and after a long pause said, "I won't let myself get hurt again!"

Honestly, she hadn't thought about this problem, and didn't want to. Her heart had been sealed shut and would not open for anyone again, so this question became moot.

"Nancy..." She walked over to her, squatted down to look her in the face, her expression sincere, "Now that you know what I think, you just need to answer me, do you love Liam Yancey? Are you willing to cure him of the love poison?"

She gazed at her intently. Even though she knew that Nancy loved Liam Yancey, she still wanted to hear her say it in her own words.

Nancy's arms started to tremble slightly, and she abruptly gripped Tara's hand. Her expression was conflicted and even her voice was shaking.

"I love him!" Her tone was incredibly firm, "But I... I can't be that selfish, burdening him with my crippled body!"
