Chapter 6. Soul Metamorphosis Technique

Upon entering the Treasures Palace, Fang Lin saw a huge sea of crowd!

There were too many people and there were even more treasures displayed everywhere.

He also found Xuo Mu and Xue Ji looking at an Azure Spear.

Fang Lin went forward and at the same time Xue Ji and Xuo Mu also saw Fang Lin and were excited upon seeing him. They immediately rushed towards Fang Lin and Xuo Mu couldn't hold it in any longer and said, "Fang Lin, where had you been? you had been taken away by that red robed Elder and we thought that there was some issue. Later on we found out from Instructor Luo that you had passed the trials and you're an outer sect disciple already!"

Xue Ji wanted to say something, but since Xuo Mu had already spoken what was on her mind already, she kept silent.

Fang Lin suddenly thought that it must have been Elder Feng who had announced that he has passed the trials.

Fang Lin grinned said, " Elder Feng took me away to conduct the trials and I've passed it already." He took out his Outer sect disciple medallion and showed it to Xuo Mu and Xue Ji.

Xuo Mu and Xue Ji's swollen eyes instantly lit up!

Xuo Mu commented at the same time, "53579? hahahah, we are very near to each other, mine is 53582 and Xue Ji is staying beside me, in 53583". All of them had slept very late in the morning, so their eyes were looking dark and worn out. Upon hearing that Fang Lin also was almost next to them, they felt rather happy.

Fang Lin suddenly said, "Alright, we will have much time later to talk, let's check out the Treasures Palace, I cannot wait anymore."

Xuo Mu's eyes instantly lit up and put up a saddened look on his face.

He muttered, "They are too pricey, we can only see them."

Fang Lin laughed and said, "Let's go check the treasures here." Fang Lin was eager to get out as soon as possible! He was not interested in the treasures here as he knew that he didn't have enough money to buy them, however he was eager to check the skill which was floating in his sea of consciousness.

The maid immediately led the trio starting from the cheapest ones.

The cheapest one which was displayed was always around 25 gold coins, a simple looking blue sword.

SnowHawk Sword, Price: 25 gold coins. Middle level Mortal grade Treasure.

Fang Lin started checking out other Treasures and his sight suddenly fell on a Red color ring.

Red striped Ring, Price: 200 gold coins. Lower level Earth grade Treasure. A Spatial ring that contains a separate dimension which is used to store items. Size: 5 cubic meters.

Fang Lin saw the Spatial ring and sighed.

He was dazed and thought to himself, "Just a 5 cubic meters Spatial ring it self costed 200 gold coins. But I already have a Spatial stone which is worth 100 cubic meters in size. I wonder how much gold coins it would cost?! And my Spatial stone has the ability to hide itself inside myself so that no one can even recognise that I have a Spatial treasure.

He thought to himself, 'Uncle Wei, why did you suddenly leave? You left behind a skill, a sword and a Spatial treasure. You clearly wanted me to cultivate and become stronger. You could've said it yourself and then left. What are the reasons for your sudden departure? And....when will I see you again?

I will definitely work hard in my cultivation and become stronger. I will become stronger and will definitely find you. I still need to find out about my parents. I don't know anything about myself and you have always kept me in the dark.'

Fang Lin had a pained look ok his face.

Xuo Mu who was next to Lin suddenly broke him out of his sadness who was grimacing and said,"Fang Lin, what are you thinking about? You very much like this Spatial ring? But it's 200 gold coins! Damn I only have like 15 gold coins upon me. I guess it will be very hard to earn so much gold coins!"

Fang Lin suddenly felt warm inside upon hearing what Xuo Mu said, he replied, "You don't need to worry, Xuo Mu, I was thinking about Uncle Wei"

Xuo Mu said, "Oh, now that you mention it, why didn't I see Uncle Wei back when we were departing? You didn't tell me anything at all...." Xuo Mu was blabbering non stop and Fang Lin immediately led him and Xue Ji out of the Treasures Pavilion.

The trio immediately came back to the Outer Sect disciples quarters and hurried towards their houses.

Fang Lin looked at Xuo Mu and Xue Ji said, "I'm going to start training in the Sect's Qi manual for now. I think you should also start training in the Qi method very soon. We will separate here for now and meet again in the evening and go roam about and eat dinner later at night."

Xue Ji and Xuo Mu both nodded together and were also eager to start training in the Qi method provided by the sect. Every sect disciple upon entering will obtain a Qi manual on how to train in the Qi method.

Fang Lin talked to them for a while and bid his goodbyes and entered the house no. 53579 and locked the door.

He sat down in the meditating position and checked out the Golden Globe in the Sea of consciousness.

Boom!!

Suddenly a large amount of information flowed through his brain and he was completely marvelled by what he saw next.

[Soul Metamorphosis Technique]

A unique technique which strengthens the soul and fortifies the sea of consciousness.

The technique had levels!!

First Level: Solid Soul State.

Second Level: Pragmatic Soul State.

Third Level: Mana Soul State.

And each level contained Lower, Middle, Upper and Peak Realms.

Fang Lin suddenly exclaimed and laughed upon seeing the following words, " A Soul Technique. Haha"

[First Skill: Soul Stealer]

Description: You can Steal a person's memory by placing your hand on the person's head and chant the mnemonics of the skill. Note, the skill would only work if that's person's soul strength is lesser than yours by atleast a sub level.

Soul Stealer will also be able to place a soul lock on in a person's sea of consciousness and control their life or death! This skill will only work if the opponent is willing.

[Second Skill: Soul Trasher]

Deliver a heavy blow on the enemies soul making the enemies' soul vulnerable and shaky.

Can also shatter weak souls.

Fang Lin was flabbergasted reading the description of the skills! Both of the skills were peerless.

The technique also contained the method to train the Soul to different levels. However it consumed a lot of pills!!!

There was a Pill chamber in the Green Bamboo sect knows as the Alchemist's Association. One would be able to buy Pills from them by spending spirit stones or Gold coins!

Fang Lin started training in the method to advance the Soul!

Roughly after 2 hours, he developed mental pressure over his mind so he stopped training in that technique. He could already sense that his soul was strengthening at a rapid pace and that he would enter the Solid Soul State in another 2 days if he trained in the same pace.

Fang Lin marvelled at the technique the more saw it.

Next he took out the Qi Manual and started reading.

Qi Condensing Realm.

This realm is known as the Qi Condensing realm where one condense the Qi from the surroundings and integrate it within their bodies. Qi Condensing stage is further divided into sub stages, Qi Conjunction, Qi Expansion and Qi Assimilation. Each Qi Condensing sub stages are further divided into early stage, middle stage and late stages. The cultivators cultivate Qi within their bodies. The cultivated Qi courses throughout their bodies, flowing and assimilating inside the flesh, blood and organs while strengthening it.

After a cultivator breaks through the Qi condensing stage, the next is Qi Transformation stage, which is subdivided into Qi Siphoning , Qi Building and Qi consolidation which is divided into early, middle and late stage. The Qi transformation stage builds the Qi Veins in the body, forming a channel, which courses throughout the whole body. The number of Qi Veins formed inside a cultivator's body depends on the foundation and robustness of the cultivator's body.

Once when a cultivator breaks through the Qi transformation stage, next step is the Revolving Core realm. Revolving Core realm is the realm in which a cultivator forms a core Qi in their bodies in the region of their abdomen. Revolving Core realm is sub divided into Single sealed core, Dual sealed core and Triple sealed core, which is further divided into early stage, middle stage and later stages.

Fang Lin thought, "I wonder what level Elder Feng and Fairy Feng will be at. Elder Feng should definitely be a Revolving Core cultivator.

I will start to train in the Qi methods as of the manual for now."

Fang Lin started to recite the mnemonics for the Qi Condensation stage and he could sense that wisps of Qi entering through his body from pores on his skin. He started to train in this method and could feel the marvellous wisps of Qi gradually being drawn into his body.

The wisps of Qi gradually seeped into his body and he could perceive a marvelous feeling within him.

He felt as if rivers were flowing within his body in a cyclic manner.

Fang Lin totally forgot the passing of time and indulged in this fantasy. He felt a thin layer of membrane shatter inside him and unknowingly he had already entered the Early stage of Qi Conjunction. He continued to train in this Qi method and reached the peak of Early Stage and would advance to the Middle stage of Qi Conjunction anytime soon.

He was just about to advance to the Qi Conjunction middle stage when he gradually heard a knock on the door from outside.
