When Void turned around, he couldn't see anything, everything was white the floor was white and the sky was white.
Since Void didn't see any monster he believed that he was transported to another planet or universe but what happened next surprised him. Out of nowhere appeared...people?
Though they were levitating in the air they surrounded him, some looked old some looked young some were fat and some were skinny but then, a man came down to him.
Void was scared out of his mind because only beings beyond the astral rank were able to fly. Void swallowed down his saliva and got the guts to ask, "what do you want?" Void decided to ask this because they weren't attacking him in fact they were just staring him down.
The one standing in front of him said with a booming voice, "Boy" Void shook while hearing the man's voice, if it weren't for his pride there would've been a yellow stain on his pants.
The man kept speaking, "What is your affinity?"
Void decided not to hide anything from the man and said, "I don't have one."
All the people looked at each other and couldn't hide the joy on their faces. They felt like partying.
The man said, "to answer the question you asked before, we want a successor."
Void looked at the man with a confusing look.
"But our successor needs someone with no affinity... Do you know who I am?"
Void looked to the man's face and answered bluntly, "no". The man felt like crying but he steeled himself and said, "quickly we don't have much time, we have to give him the basic affinities" as the man said this 8 people suddenly teleported around him. A beauty placed her hand on his forehead and a notification-like message popped into his head.

Before Void could react or reply the seven other people placed their hands on different parts of his body and before long the system-like voice replied to the strange event.

The strange man noticed the look of terror on Void's face so he decided to allow him to leave, with a snap the portal turned green the man grabbed Void and threw him out after telling him to come back if he ever needed help.

When Void landed out of the portal he had already fainted from shock so the system decided to do something rather devilish.
Since the system had been implanted in Void's mind it had access to all of Voids memories so she put up a notification.

Void kept sleeping in a lifeless state and after 10 seconds he was sleeping soundly under the covers of his bed.

After waking up sweating profoundly he remembered what happened yesterday but since he was in his dorm he believed it was just a dream.

Void jumped, but after remembering who it was he calmed down.
"Why am I in my dorm?" asked Void innocently.

Floating in front of Void was a blue screen only Void could see.
