The author has two big issues. 1: he's too patriotic even if he's milder than most chinese authors. It's annoying to see. 2: The author thinks that smoking is the hallmark of a cool guy. This isn't true and never will be, it's the hallmark of a douchebag that no one wants to be around, that smells like sh*t and that has no idea about what "cool" means. I bet the author is a smoker as well. Other than that, this is a great novel... Well, except for some particular info dumps of irrelevant stuff like someone's stats. He's also too lazy to think up proper titles even though it couldn't be easier.
