I am still not getting this. The goal is to destroy the Germinal faction. Having allies among the players seems like a good idea. Why is the MC not seeing that? I could see a situation where the player could be used to be a scout for quests for the MC thus making the players die for him... over and over again.

This is almost exactly the Scene, I have envisioned, Han Xiao doing. except showing his skills to the player early and turning the player into mechanic. Honestly I think showing your skill early is a bad move on his part.

Give out quests go identify new germinal bases, sell high explosive ammo for exp. Gain knowledge and exp. Also if any players are stupid enough to ask/say the bases location over the forum... well, they aren't new bases anymore, right? Oh, and change the bread quest to 10 exp instead of a dollar.

Gives cheap quest for 10,000 xp. Sells high explosive ammo for 1,000xp per round Profit
